Hey guys, i have been trying to get a deal on a Tiguan SE for the past week.

The MSRP is of the one i want it $27,690
Im trying to get these lease terms

36/12
600 DAS (including first months payment)
270/ month including tax %9.5

Anyone know what the money factor should be?

Is this feasible for this car ? I have been getting 330+ from local dealerships which seems kind of high. What do you guys think ? Or if anyone knows of a dealership in the socal area that could help, please let me know.

We show the VW numbers updated on Saturday... the programs we have show 07/01 expiration

EDIT: On second thought, I think your dealer may be correct, regardless of the info we have.

Final Price - $28,789

For a 12K/36 Month lease I was quoted $371.

RV 55% and MF .0006 - From what I can tell using Leasehackr calculator this is accurate based on the numbers I received. 

Thoughts on if this is a good price? I think I can get at least another $1,000 discount maybe more.

Yes just trade-in upfront. I got another dealer to discount it to $30,500 and $2,850 trade-in. Signed the papers tonight.

Just double-checking the numbers for a 2019 Tiguan SEL Premium 4Motion in 13406, 36mos/12K.

Also, is there a good explanation somewhere of how the "Dealer Lease Cash" enters into the equation? It's the only part I'm unclear on. Is it a rebate-type incentive that is deducted from the sell price (lowering the cap cost), or a manufacturer's incentive amount to dealers that the dealer can play with when determining their sell price? I have researched the fair market sell prices on Edmunds and KBB, and was wondering if the dealer lease cash is already factored into those prices.

Thanx again for all of the help and information, and sorry for my ignorance. Hope to be driving a VW soon.

I doubt either source is giving you a sell price for a lease. Purchase incentives could be different.

The dealer gets $1250 for finance.

So, shoot for $350 under the on-line sale prices you see..
At least, that is a start.. We don't really track pricing, so it's hard to know. With VW, be aggressive.

Zip code 02155, SE 4Motion and yeah $335 out of pocket. I was asking the dealership earlier if they had a 39 months lease option and they emailed back and said that that quote was actually for a 39 months lease haha. They now say that a 36 months lease would be around $345 a month. I was instantly turned off and don't know if I want to deal with them now.
