I was asking the dealership earlier if they had a 39 months lease option and they emailed back and said that that quote was actually for a 39 months lease haha. They now say that a 36 months lease would be around $345 a month. I was instantly turned off and don't know if I want to deal with them now.

Thanks. I've never leased or looked into a Tiguan let alone a VW before so I'm not sure how much below invoice you can typically get. Looking at this quote I believe it's around $1,500 below invoice. Think I can push for a bigger discount?

Quick question. Does the TMV usually include the incentives? Or do you add incentives on top of TMV when trying to calculate monthly lease payments?

TMV would include VW-to-dealer purchase incentives. Which may be different from the lease incentives

I get $334/mo.+tax, using the sale price as the adjusted CAP. (and, you'd think it would be higher than that.
With tax, that looks about right.
Seems like a good discount, even with the dealer incentive accounted for.

Thanks. Their first offer was full sticker of 37,119 with no lease incentive. Payment right under $600. They didn’t want to show me sales price when I questioned it along with MF and residual so it might have been above sticker or marked up other ways. They quickly came back with a second offer over $100 less but I was already done. If my wife and kids weren’t with me I might have lost it. Actually told me people come in all day long and pay sticker for a lease and acted like I was the problem. Anyway, finding another dealer. Wife liked the car and I might look at an Atlas myself.
