I confirm the 62%, and the last we heard, the standard MF was .00227

We do not have the Ally lease programs

Not sure how to answer your question without it.

We don't know the exact rate of the standard MF for September. It was .00227 the last time we were able to verify it.

Hey guys - I traveled very far to snag a 2019 2 door rubicon and the numbers we worked over the phone seem to be a good bit different than what I was expecting and planning. First off, I had hoped to be doing a 48mo/15k lease at .00227 MF / 50% residual and hitting somewhere in the high $500/mo range on a vehicle with agreed upon price of $46k.

Seems like the MF right now for September is .00229, and I showed up to a deal they were trying to push me through very quickly which was a 60 months at 10k miles per year for $670 per month. Their rationale was that I should take the 60 months and not worry about the mileage difference, and then opt to trade the car in to any FCA dealer around the 3-4 year mark regardless of the miles it has on it because the value of the trade will often exceed what's left on the lease. Is this as crazy as it sounds to me? It sounds like a gamble.

My original 48/15k request seems like it will be a fair bit higher than the 670/mo, but I also do have a bit of negative equity on a trade. I received 22.5k value on a car I owe 25k for that I was originally not going to trade, but was told that the tax liability without a trade would be the ~8% on the $46,000 vehicle whereas with the trade it'd be ~8% levied on the difference of the new car value and the trade, which should end up giving me a little savings there almost equal to what I'm in the red for on my trade. I also opted to throw $2k into the deal.

The dealer was closing so I'm heading back in this morning, but wanted to get some opinions on the matter. I hope to see numbers on my original 48/15k request today but probably won't be able to hold the deal open for much longer as I need to get on the road back to my home state. Attached is the current deal sheet.

Hi, this is an awful deal. It makes no sense to do a 60 month lease. Why not buy at this rate? You could probably get a better rate from your bank (<5.49%). Have you tried selling your car at carmax, caravan etc? You are paying $42,640 in total for the car in the lease for a total capitalized cost of 46,895. Once you finish paying, the residual will be 24,576.00. You are basically leasing this car for its whole price ??? Please run away from this or just finance it. If you decide that you don't want it anymore after 48 months, you can just sell it for more than you'll still owe.

Where to begin?

1. Chrysler Capital does not fund 60 month leases - ask the dealer which bank this is (likely US Bank or Ally). If this is an alternate bank, we don't have their programs to confirm MF or RV.
2. The $2500 of negative equity equates to $52/mo (48 months) or $42/mo (60 months) extra to your payment. Is there a compelling reason to get out of your Audi while you are still upside down?
3. $673 * 60 = $40,380. You could probably finance it for 72 months for the same payment. Might be worth a look.
4. What state is this?
5. I'm not sure how much faith I'd put into the dealer statement about trading in after 3-4 years. Leases are not set up to give you positive equity, and it could be expensive to exit the lease early.
6. Ask for the lease worksheet for 48/15 - what you've posted is the contract, which doesn't show us all the numbers.

Why dont you just purchase it instead lease...
