Is there such a thing as a single payment lease for jlu wrangler Sahara unlimited? If we do single payment is mf 0 because we are essentially paying cash?
I'm sure there is, but we don't have the details.
No, the money factor won't be zero, because you aren't paying cash, unless you are paying the full selling price. If the bank has to buy the vehicle for $45K to rent it to you, then even if you pay the depreciation upfront (assume it's $15K), then they are still putting out $30K over the term of the lease that they have to collect finance charges on.
Hi, would I be able to get the RV and MF for a 2019 JLU 4 door for 36/12, 36/15, 39/12, and 39/15? Zip code is 11426. And any incentives or promos as well? Thank you so much!
What trim level?
Sorry about that, Sport S. Thank you again.
Standard MF and 67% residual for either 36 or 39 mo, 15K/yr
What's the MF for 2nd tier credit and Residual value on 2019 WRANGLER UNLIMITED SAHARA 4X4 this week? (or month?) 36 months lease and 48 month lease.
Dealer shows $48.6K vehicle on their website with a discounted price of $45K. Is this a good price? They keep emailing me that they are running the "ULTIMATE FINAL CALL" Sale. I was planning to ask for $42K to seal the deal - is that too much of an ask? If you don't discuss about price negotiations, then could you please let me know the best deal you heard this month for a 2019 WRANGLER SAHARA 4x4?
Thanks you for your time in responding to all of our JEEP enthusiasts!

My dealer informed me today that residual on a 2018 Sport S 2-door came down 3% points since December 3rd...looking to verify. Lease is close to $593 for $39,911 (including TT), which is $70 more than my last quote in early December. Not sure this is a good deal.
Can you let me know what residual is for zip 77450 on a 2018 2 door Sport S - 36/39 mos. with 12k miles. Thanks much!

Michael....you appear to be the Answer Man so I'm hoping you can provide me the details I'm looking for...
I'm about to lease a 2019 Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited I'm looking at a 36 month lease and thinking of 12K or 15K per year...leaning towards 15K. This is manual transmission and my zip code is 92264
Can you give me the new Chrysler Capital Residuals for 36 Mth 12K and 15K? I am thinking new numbers came out this week. I would also like to know the buy rate with Tier 1 credit.
Also....do you know Chrysler waives the Acquisition Fee on Tier 1? If not, do you happen to know what that is?

Standard MF 63%/61% residual $595 acquisition fee (no waivers based on credit)
We don't know the Standard MF, this month. Last month, it was .00225, and that's probably close.

I don't have exact numbers right in front of me, but we ended up at $426 a month including tax for 36/12. I paid $500 total at signing which included first payment and the MSRP was $44.5K. MF was .00225 and the discount was around $5k.
thank you mods and members. youve all helped me over the last few months and i landed what i feel is a good deal today. as far as wrangler deals go at least : )
Congrats!
Care to share your deal details with us?
@jpqst - Curious as to general location and how you were able to get 10%+ off MSRP on the 19 unlimited sport s. I'm seeing about 7-8% in my area (Chicago). Thanks!
Hubby's wrangler finally showed up at dealer!! What is current lease rate? JL Sahara Unlimited, 36/45, zip 19803, tier 1 credit. And where can I get their base rate for financing? TIA

Standard MF and 63% residual
The only thing I see for APR for Wrangler is "Standard". Likely to be 6% or more.
Thanks, appreciated! Jeep confirmed they have a single-pay lease, just not sure if 6% on the residual is worth it vs possible 2.99% to buy (AAA financing, at least on their entry page - the devil is in the details :>)

Was this a Chrysler Capital lease or a different bank?
We're being told $895 acquisition fee. Pls confirm - definitely $595? (or perhaps dealer is using another lease company). We're being quoted .00146 MF/63% on 3 yr/15k single-pay lease, and .00167 on monthly pay. She's also saying $450 disposition fee if we decide TO BUY OUT the lease, which seems backwards.

2019 Jeep Sahara Unlimited JL, zip 19803
Chrysler Capital now allows dealers to markup the fee by $300. .00167 is a great money factor.
No info on the disposition fee. I'd definitely ask which bank they are quoting.
Wow! Great to know. For the single pay we are told there is zero up front fee and the numbers are consistent with that. BTW the disposition fee - I called Chrysler Capital and got out of them: IF you decide not to buy another Jeep & you turn yours in it's $395 If you buy out your leased Jeep it's $450. Why? Rep had no idea, "it's probably for doing paperwork". I pointed out there is also a dealer doc prep fee, and she said "well, it's not much"...those who do business in the mid-Atlantic might know that a number of dealers in VA/MD charge $699 for that dealer doc prep fee! Even the rep was shocked by that.
So based on the buyout fee it was Chrysler Capital, and the $895 is consistent with the $300 markup.

Yeah.... the purchase option fees are stupid.
Dealer doc fees have gotten out of hand, in those states that don't regulate them. It's just a scam.
MD may be, I was talking to VA and trying MD, I know VA was $699, could be wrong about MD. We bought in PA for $141 doc fee.
We have decided to finance, we went through AAA and got 48 months at 2.99%. Tier 1 credit, autopay are requirements for this rate.
For those who are numbers people, we did a lease vs buy analysis, and given that we are making a large down payment, we are saving almost $3k by buying vs the best lease deal, which is the single payment lease. For the calc we assumed we'd buy out the Jeep at lease-end for the residual, and we added on the $450 stupid fee.
This was a lot of work and research, but it was very profitable in that we ended up about 6% UNDER invoice, got the majority of the nuisance fees (extra $200 on top of registration fees) removed, and saved 0.5% on our loan over the next lowest loan rate. Because we ordered we got exactly the build we wanted and weren't stuck paying for options we didn't care about.
Thanks to kyfdx and Edmunds and jeep forums for the research assistance!
And to buyers - always, always check every single number and demand things be itemized. When we were discussing leasing and asking for details - money factor, residual AND payments from the dealership, the dealer conveniently never mentioned the $895 lease origination fee, they just buried it in the monthly payments. When I asked if there was one, only then was it disclosed. On the plus side, they did NOT charge the $895 on single payment lease AND they found a $500 rebate in hubby's name because he had signed up for jeep mailing list!
Buy vs. lease: If you want to own the car, then you get no benefit from the high residuals on the Wrangler. But, if you want the car for three years, it's hard to beat the lease.

Agree 100%. We did a lot of thinking about buy vs lease on this - lease is a good way to have a 3-yr test drive to be sure we love the car, and then we can buy it out. In this case we were always planning on keeping it, and were just considering the lease that 3-yr test drive. A few hundred, even $1k, is reasonable for that flexibility, but $3k isn't, and since we would most likely buy it out at lease-end, we decided on the buy. If we were thinking we wouldn't keep it or would be wanting something else/new in 3 years, then we would have done the single payment lease.
Any idea if the single pay lease is available in Columbus, Ohio? Does Chrysler financial offer it everywhere? I may not have pushed hard enough but the two dealerships I've talked with seem confused by the question.

I can't imagine that the one-pay program is regional in any way, but not all dealers may be aware that it's available. Agree with @erdoran, have your dealer call the bank.
One pay lease is good only if car is not stolen or crashed. Otherwise savings is not worth it. Gap insurance needs to cover difference, sometimes it doesn’t.

Don't confuse one-pay lease with a down payment for the entire lease amount. They are different. According to Chrysler Capital, if you do a one-pay lease and crash the car 1/2 way through the lease, you'll get a refund of 50% of that total one-pay. However, if you make a downpayment of that same amount you get a zero refund.
Gap insurance is supposed to cover the difference between amount due and value of car. Certainly you'd want to read the policy carefully to be sure you are good.
I would think that one-pay and refundability is no different than if the day after you did your lease you totalled up what all your lease payments would be, wrote a check for that amount and mailed it in. Same concept, except for the one-pay you pay much less interest and no lease origination fee.
