2019 Honda Civic Lease Deals and Prices

Update. Had a dealer say they would match what Honcker was offering, then they asked to see the offer so that “the details match”. I sent them a screen shot of the offer and then asked where it was from. I said Honcker and they replied “that site is not recognized by Honda and they are improper using the incentives and that they are $45 below a month what they could offer. 

So earlier in the day they were going to match it and wanted me to come in right away for this deal. Now they can’t do the deal? Guess I’m going with Honcker.

No, I did not. I just can't stomach the idea of paying $100.00 more per month, 3 years after a lease deal at $168.00/month...

My $168/mo lease was up in mid October, but I've been extending month-to-month with my current 2015 Honda Civic LX sedan, hoping that the numbers on a new model (or another make/model) might come down at some point...

The negotiated price is $22115 (residual value $15062). They are asking for a monthly payment of $331-$338 with first month + DMV + dealer fees down. I think I should be able to get a lower payment, am I wrong?

I think the selling price is 23400 but I thought the capitalizaed cost would be the negotiated price.

CAP cost = negotiated price, plus any taxes or fees you are not paying up front, less any incentives or money down

For a 2019 Civic EX CVT MRSP $24,295. I was able to get a negotiated price of $21691.73 with monthly payments (36/12) of $300. First month down at signing.
MF = 0.00178, RV = $15062 and 6% sales tax.
What I observed is that the dealer fees included a documentation fee of $495, acquisition fee $595, License fee $20 and cap fees $42 for a final cap cost of $22823.73.

I just wonder if that is a fair price or there is a way to negotiate further some or all of these fees?

Other than the doc fee, the fees are pretty much set. The doc fee is onerous. By comparison, if you shopped in Ohio, the fee is regulated by the state ($250 max), or Indiana ($150 max, I think).

But, rather than negotiate the fee, just adjust your offer price down by $500 to make up for it. That way, you don't have to listen to their silly crap explanations about the fee.

That said, I don't follow the pricing part of it.
