2019 Honda CR-V Lease Deals and Prices

Qualified for military and loyalty. I am not 100% sure the loyalty could be applied in my lease with military.
Regardless a solid end of month deal with little hassle.

I am in Central MA. I emailed all my local dealers telling them that I was looking for 36/15k with a payment of $300-$310/mo(including tax) with just first month payment due at signing. Some dealers ignored my monthly payment, but others were upfront and presented reasonable offers. 2 dealers came in at $329/mo which wasn't too far off.

Nightmarish experience at a dealership in UT last night. Settled on a selling price of 28,500 for a 2019 AWD CRV EXL. Asked for a worksheet for lease. Back and forth, back and forth to get the MF to .00069 and the residual at 59%. Once that was settled, mysterious $1000-ish “additions to gross cap” costs began appearing on the worksheet, along with several other less mysterious fees, including acquisition fees of $595.

We tried to get the “additions” itemized and the salesman tried to get us to ignore them. He claimed that the finance guy would be able to explain all. When we finally met with the finance guy, he took the position of sign it or walk. He acted offended and answered “well it’s all here on paper” when we asked him to explain the add ones to the cap and to walk thru the math with us.

Here is where the shocking part comes. He called in his sales manager who was probably exhausted after a long and busy Labor Day weekend sales day. The sales mgr acted put out by our question (to detail the cap changes) and freaked out. F - bombs, the whole bit. Left the finance room and continued his tirade into the showroom which was essentially empty by then. He was yelling at us, but I think we were the recipient of his general frustration of an educated clientele. Here is a quote “I’m so sick of you F-ing idiots who have some online lease calculator and think you everything”. “Just get the F out of here and leave me alone. You don’t know even know what you are talking about!” On and on....

Horrified, we left. Completely unprofessional. Here is the lease worksheet the finance guy provided. Hope the photo uploads correctly

Can you take a look and give us some feedback?

1) It appears that the adjusted residual is a reduction of $0.10/mile for the 233 miles on the vehicle. Seems weird to adjust for that few miles, but I'm not familiar with Honda's rules on that.

2) The additions are itemized at the bottom. Though, it only shows $166 in upfront additions, and your upfront money is $234 more than the payment.

3) The Capped additions are added to the selling price, plus $595 acq. fee, and result in the adjusted CAP cost shown.

4) The doc fee is just an extra fee for the dealer. The "age-based" fee is a new one on me.

5) If the doc fee is capped, then it is subject to the monthly sales tax on the lease payment. I don't think you should have upfront tax on the doc fee, if you aren't paying the doc fee upfront. (just like the acquisition fee. It's capped, so no upfront tax)

Thank you! I basically got your same deal. 312 a month with DC tax included which is significantly higher than MA. My adj cap cost was 27,410 .0069 61% residual 36/12k year.

Based on what I see on this forum I got a great deal(thanks to this forum).

This seems a bit high compared to most deals done here. Get a lease worksheet from your dealer. Verify the MF and Residual. We need more info such as your tax rate, what is included in the cap adjustment etc...The more numbers you provide, the better we can evaluate. Also, today is the last day for any of the current offers, just FYI. Everything changes tomorrow.
