But, the $500 is Honda-to-dealer. You won't "see" it, but should benefit by a lower selling price.

We finished our new 2019 Honda CR-V 2WD EX lease last night (old lease was due 09-18-19 so we HAD to do something) at Concord Honda (CA). We did all of our research and were very happy with the results. It made ALL the difference! No aftermarkets options. We turned down all addt'l incidental options offered. *Note: we turned down the Phantom Footprint (sic) but then without our asking, the finance manager gave it to us for free anyway...Interesting! I suspect it's automatic anyway, they just use it to try to extract more $$$. It was an excellent experience. Doing the homework on all lease aspects and finding an online free lease calculator was incredibly important in understanding all the financial nuances they use to throw up smoke and mirrors making it so very difficult to understanding the negotiation process and numbers. I recommend turning down all add-ons...Way overpriced and unnecessary ...Warranties, etc. In case anyone is interested:

They came in a hair over the 5% figure we had of $25,393 ---they countered $25,945, which we accepted. We highly recommend the EX. It's truly (to me) luxury level without the luxury price tag. The Money Factor confirmed was .00084 and for this model Residual Value Percentage confirmed was 60%. Good luck to everyone!!! I hope you get what you want.

I leased a 2019 crv ex awd in new york with 1st month DAS only.. for 346 per mo for 36 months 12k. Maybe could have gotten a few bucks less but I think it was an OK deal considering the mf went up compared to last month..??

Even with the higher MF you're about $50 higher relative to the good deals we've seen. Congrats on the CR-V, though. Next time you lease you'll know more and possibly get a much better deal.

Okay, folks. I could not resist posting this. You may think it mean, but just think about all the down time sales people have who are selling cars in car lots.....Don't hate!

Actual email back and forth from an Internet Sales Manager at a local dealer I requested a quote from:

Sandra,
I am very sorry to be the bearer of bad news. And, it’s really bad.

I have to say, I’m happy I did not have to deal with your dealership. Avery Honda will forever be etched in my mind as where NOT TO GO to do business. I had to call two times to get a proper email to get a quote from a sales person. She could not even give me a correct address. A second call gleaned the correct address. A second sending of my email request… to which she did not respond.

Suddenly, I get an email from a person I do now know at Avery asking to confirm my proper email. Done. A third email to confirm a proper phone number, to which I responded and supplied a better phone number. A fourth email requesting if I had received any attention…to which I responded….I had not…not a peep. A 5th email asking the same question.

Your company’s entire process was a joke! I will tell everyone I know, do not do business with Avery Honda. It will be a monumental waste of my time.

Yeah, not enough info in that report to be of good assistance.

Backing that sell price out with this month's 17067 residual it looks like $299.77 before tax (CA is 9%?) so $326.75/mo. $0 DAS would make it better but just ok but the incentives aren't great this month. NoCal dealers are tough; best dealers much farther south.

Anyway, we need to see a scan of the Regulation M to really know the numbers.
