We don't know how LR handles the demo, though.

We would need to know the MSRP, the selling price and the adjusted cap cost to model a payment.

    Hello there.

First thanks for all you do. And everyone's input.

Can I please request MF, RV for a 2020 Range Rover Evoque S & SE in 32827. 39 months, 10k.

Does $4000 down and $500 per month for Evoque S P250 S seem like a decent deal in the current climate? RRP is $52,500. Sale price $48,780

    Thanks!

    Either trim

$675 incentive on SE trim only

With the prices provided, I calculate a payment of $496/mo, assuming a 7% sales tax rate.

However, $4000 is way too much to start a lease with. In FL, we recommend just the first payment and registration costs be paid at signing.

    So, not a good deal.

Hi, can I please have the May MF and RV for a 2020 Range Rover Evoque S and R-Dynamic SE 36/12,000 in 80031? Any lease cash/conquest/other incentives available?

    P250 S - .00002 and 60%
    P300 R-Dyn SE - .00001 and 57%; $1750 incentive
Thank you! I made a typo. Do you mind also giving me the numbers for an SE model? Appreciate it!
    .00001 MF and 59% residual
    $675 dealer lease cash
I got an offer back from the dealer. Curious to think what you guys think of this initial offer on a 2020 Evoque SE DEMO vehicle with 2,538 miles:

    MSRP: $56,812
    Dealer Discount: $9,862
    Sales Price: $46,950
    Residual Value: 58%
    Money Factor: .00109
    Acquisition Fee: $895
    Doc Fee: $795
    Available Incentives: None

Off the bat, the Money Factor seems high. Any suggestions to what I should counter with? Also, it looks like they're not offering the $675 dealer lease cash. Is this because it's a demo vehicle and not new?

This is my first lease, excited to get down to the final negotiation stages. Thanks for your help!

No one offers the dealer cash, because the money goes from LR to the dealer.

All that and no payment quote?

Some of that $4000 is down payment; if you don't pay it the payment will go up.

Ask them to provide a breakdown of the $4000, and we can help determine what an appropriate counter offer would be.

Awesome. I'm new to negotiating leases, and I'm looking to try and get a deal on a First Edition Loaner/Demo that I came across. I'm curious on how to go about negotiating the selling price. The Edmunds "Appraise My Car" doesn't have data for a 2020 FE with 4-6k miles, and the new car pricing pretty much aligns with the price I saw on the dealer's website. Though, compared to the MSRP on Toade's deal (on the previous page) the price shown is quite a bit lower, and if I can get to a similar selling price, I think I can make it work. Any tips for getting a 10-15% discount? Alternatively, I can try to negotiate terms on an SE, as it seems the the new car pricing on Edmunds reveals a pretty favorable discount for that model.

Negotiating the selling price is the same, whether you are leasing or buying. I can't help you with the process.

Sorry for double posting -- just wanted to make sure it wasn't overlooked!

Could I please get MF/RV/Incentives for Evoque R-dynamic SE and Evoque SE?
36/10 or 12, whichever has better rates, and 07921.

Thank you so much for your help!

    36/12
    SE - .00001 and 59%; $675 incentive
    R-Dyn SE - .00001 and 57%; $1750 incentive
    Hey guys,

So the dealer came back with 0.00009 and 58%.
Per the dealer, they are getting these rates from Chase.
Based on reading above, this is probably being marked up for profit, correct?
What can one say to bring this number down without calling them out directly?
Or should I call Chase and work directly through them?

The current MSRP is $57,492 for the SE.
Based on leasehackr, monthly would be $685.
Once I figure out whether the MF is something I can call them out on, I am planning to negotiate the MSRP down. What is a reasonable amount to discount? Is 10% (~$5500) ridiculous?

Any tips you guys use when negotiating, or if any one is a dealer, what works for you guys? I'm assuming trying to bs or argue "logic" is not the way to go ... I've tried the "the other dealer.." route and never got a call back again.

Tell them you want the base MF, or you'll find another dealer.

Unfortunately, this is a common tactic with LR dealers - I usually suggest shopping a different brand.

Got it. Yeah, I suppose there's not much more you can do than taking your business elsewhere.

.00009 MF and 58% residual is the base rate for 39/12
That is probably the best term.

No dealer is going to bother marking up a rate from .00001 to .00009.

Wow. I just re-read the e-mail, and you're correct. I asked for 36, and they quoted me 39.
    Thank you for catching that.

Trying my luck with a different dealer. I'll post here if I end up getting a deal as good as that guy in SoCal.

    Hello again guys ..

Are you able to provide MF and RV for a CPO?
A dealer is being very vague and won't provide the numbers to me, just that they're very different.

    I'm looking at two used:
    1. $48,397 (6,634 miles, SE trim, all black)
    2. $53,688 (5,512 miles, SE trim, Gray)

Also, I'd greatly appreciate it if you can evaluate the below offer I received:

Brand new R-dynamic with black out package
Listed for $58,898 but I got the sell price down to about $55,659.
    MF - 0.00009
    RV - 56%
    12k/39 months
$2783 total out of pocket (first month, tax, fees)
    Monthly - $599

I was really hoping to hit somewhere in the low $50s to high $40s based on the deals I saw the SoCal guy and NJ guy got .. but apparently they're much better negotiators than I am. (Sad, because I'm at the exact same dealership njcruise got his $6k off from a month ago..)

Hello, May I please get 36/15 RV and MF and incentives for the 2020 Evoque SE and Velar S at 08823? Also, would it be possible to get the same info at 36/20k? Thank you! BTW, are the LR 39 month leases forced/mandatory now?

If these are previously titled, then we do not have the lease numbers.

However, if they are service loaners or dealer demos, then the new car program will still be in effect, but there will be an unknown adjustment to the residual value.

If loaners or demos, you will want a bigger discount for them than you would on a new car, to account for the existing miles (and resultant lower residual value).
