If I add the acquisition fee to the sale price, the payment is almost exact.

Considering the high sales tax on leases in TX, this is a pretty good deal. Especially for a Land Rover, where good deals are hard to find.

If I add the taxes and acquisition fee to the selling price, I'm about $10/mo over the quoted payment.

Relative to MSRP, that's a decent payment.

I'd ask them to quote you a payment on a new unit, to see how much the loaner vehicle is saving you.

I recieved a quote from an out of state dealer and they gave me the residual value including demo miles, and it appears to be 62.73 and 61.73. Looking at other comments, seems the demo miles only took off ~.27%

Although the reductions appear to be 1% more than you surmise.

Using these numbers, and adjusting down the residual to match the dollar amount they gave me, looks like they are making the MF up from .00012 to .0006 and .00020 to .00070. Will write them back asking what thats about as its adding over $40/month. Probably their way to recoup some of the money from discounting the demo so much. Thank you!

Congrats on the new Evoque!

Some fees are mandatory - acquisition fee, for one.

Others, like the doc fee, are dealer specific - it's better to negotiate the price to negate the fees rather than trying to eliminate the fees directly. ("Oh, but we have to charge everyone the same fee - it's the law.")

We have found that LR dealers, in general, are not great about discounting - yours is one of the best deals we've seen in a while.
