I am also being told that the $5000 dealer incentive is not combinable with 0.9% financing.

I was also told that you can't get the $5000 dealer incentive if you pay cash.

The only way to get it is with 4.95% financing.

I live in NJ. Is this true? It really makes no sense to me.

It looks like we are getting the Base SH-AWD MDX for $42,055.63 out the door after MV Fees, sales tax and the loyalty incentive. The actual sales price is $39,549.16. This is after the $5K incentive, so I will have to go with their financing. I plan on refinancing it as soon as I am allowed.

With tax and acquisition fee included, seems like your selling price should be lower than your information.

a) Gross Capitialized Cost = $41,900.98 (agreed upon value of the vehicle) and with taxes, fees, service contracts, etc. = $43,712.39
b) Capitalized Cost Reduction = -$980 (brought from my $1K downpayment)
c) Adjusted Capitalized Cost = $42,732.39
d) Residual Value = -30,326.00 (out of $52,395 i.e. 57.88%)
e)Depreiciation and any amortized amounts = $12406.39
f) Rent Charge = $5917.61
G) Total of Base payments = 18,324 (i.e. $509 * 36 months)
H) Lease Payments = 36 months
I) Base Monthly Payment = $509.00 (due for next 35 months because 1st month already accounted)
J) Monthly Sales Tax = N/A
K and L - Others = N/A

The MF we quote is for top tier credit - it cannot be any lower than that, unless you choose to do a "one pay" lease, where you make all the payments up front. That will reduce the MF by .00080

The TMV price uses the purchase incentives, not the lease incentives. Your cap cost is lower than TMV because the lease incentives have already been applied. As the lease incentive is $5300 more than the purchase incentive, your target should be TMV less $5300.

And, note that TMV is simply an average for your area - if you can negotiate a lower price, that is to your advantage.
