I can't imagine any dealer willing to structure the lease and subsequent quick-buyout to help minimize the sales tax. Well, it was a good idea though. Maybe in person it'd be worth a shot, but most likely would be a fruitless endeavor.

You can't buy it for the residual. The residual is the buyout, after all of the payments have been made.

Flex cash is a dealer incentive they can choose to share with the customer on select deals.
