Hi Goodmorning, Have been following this forum, Mercedes GLE and GLC forums for a while and really appreciate your tremendous input here. I am interested in 2020 Velor P250 S. Can I get a MF and Residual for 36/39 months 7.5k/10k miles. I am looking in local dealers near 60194. Thanks. Also it's an end of the month so is it wise to wait for June? Thanks, Rahul
Hi, appreciate all the inputs you are providing! I am looking for MF and Residual for the 2020 P250 S Velar for 36/39 months for 10K. Dealership is located at 77450( but I am not- does that matter? My zip is 78749)
Dealership gave this quote for 36Months/10k : 2500 down/- 703/monthly
39months/10k: 2500 down/ - 677/monthly
Any suggestions/ feedback on how good is this and what MF and Residual should they be quoting?
.00073 and 60% .00076 and 59%
LR numbers are national.
What is the MSRP and selling price for those quotes? What does the $2500 up front cover, specifically?
Thanks Michaell! I am trying to get that info from the dealer- they didn’t really share much. For purchase option though their MSRP was 57325 and Sale price was 51406. But I assume the corresponding lease numbers would be different.?
Here’s what the dealer came back with For the 36mos/10k lease on the P250S
Sale price: 51,007 MF: 0.00176 Residual: 59%
2500 drive out includes first month payment+fees/insurance/taxes(461)+cap reduction (1362)

The MF is way jacked up the base you provided.
Which is typical for a LR dealer.
Is there another brand that interests you?
😅 unfortunately hard to take my mind off but might settle in for a MDX if things work out on it.

Just wanted to update , I finally closed the deal yesterday on this with 2500 drive-off(includes first month payment) and $608(inc tax) monthly payment. They were really wanting to make their May numbers - not sure if this is the best deal but better than where we were

This is what a dealer came to me with after a lot of back and forth (I'm in Texas, so the tax is a big factor in total payments):
39/15 MSRP: $64,750 Residual: 54% MF: 0.00107 Sale price: $63,000 Tax credits: ~$3,100 Free powder coat of wheels: $1,200 dealer price, ~$5-600 elsewhere Total monthly payment: $885
I was happy about the tax credits which brought the total monthly way down, but I wasn't too happy with the sale price. I final offered $60,750 which they rejected and I told them to contact me if they change their mind.
Was the offer from the dealer that we initially settled on a good deal and should I go back to them for that offer? Or did I make the smart choice and should stick with my lower "take it or leave it" price?
I really do want the car, but ~3% off MSRP seems kind of ridiculous.

Miniscule discounts are the MO of most LR dealers.
So what you're saying is... this actually isn't that bad of a deal considering I still got $1,750 off MSRP, free powder coating on the wheels, and a $3,000+ tax credit?

I didn't say that, at all.
LR dealers are allergic to discounting, compared to other brands.
Tax credits absolutely help with the overall deal, but you can get that with other brands, as well.
Not sure how far you're willing to travel, but shopping other dealers to make sure you're geting the best price can't hurt.
Q8 Still in play - the Velar is second option; and sorry for missing model; it is 340 S but since you mention it, can I also have MF/RV for the 340 R-Dynamic ? Thank you !

Thought I'd come back to share since some advice did help me make a decision on a good deal/bad deal.
Got a 2020 Velar R-Dynamic P250 S w/ almost fully loaded options + free powder coat on the wheels ($1,200 dealer cost) for $909/month in Texas. All taxes and fees included, 0 down. MSRP was right under $71,000.
Might not be the best deal possible in general, but from what I've found on Range Rovers and their tiiiiiny discounts (if at all), I thought I did pretty well.

What kind of percentage discount off of MSRP should I be shooting for on my 2020 Velar? i.e does Range Rover discount the same way BMW and Mercedes does, which are both in the neighborhood of 8 to 10% Off MSRP

Would a loaner have a different MF and RV? MSRP of $66,073 As per the sales person the selling price is 57,936. With plugging in the numbers with 4,500 total due at signing i am getting $555, but was quoted $649 by the dealer

There could be a residual adjustment downward, to account for the mileage.
Also, the dealer could be marking up the money factor.
