RV is fixed by the bank; dealer can mark up MF by .00040. If they do, tell them you won't do a deal without the base rate.

If you live in Chicago, I'd seriously consider buying instead of leasing with those taxes.

The state taxes the sum of the payments; the city then taxes the monthly payment - the $6K may represent the total amount of taxes you pay.

I'd ask the dealer for a lease worksheet.

Using the prices, as is, with the base MF of .00128 and RV of 58%, I get $915/mo; $958/mo with max MF markup to .00168.

Sometimes, never. The yield on 2 year and 5 years treasury notes rates rose, after the announcement.

Though, I think you have the dealer's discount and selling price wrong.
To get that payment, the discount would have to be about $5200, and the selling price without the rebate would be around $42145. (since the rebate is applied to the upfront money)
