Has anyone used the Audi/Costco program to lease a vehicle? I am looking at a Base 2020 Q5 with $45000 MSRP. Dealer said the program reduces MSRP by 10%. So they took off $4500 (10%) and the cash incentive. That took the cap cost down to $39300. If the $4500 is coming from Audi/Costco should I still be able to negotiate a lower cap cost with the dealer? Maybe $37300? Dealer gave me .00156 MF but I am going to fight for the .00036. Thank you for any guidance.

I don't think Audi or Costco gives the dealer 10%. There may be some (much) smaller dealer incentive, but it certainly isn't 10% of MSRP.

That said, we don't know the incentive, so can't tell you what you might negotiate. Just that most people that use the Costco deal is because it is a fixed price.

But, you should definitely push back on the MF. That is equivalent to a 3% APR markup.

Thank you. Will see if I can lower the cap cost a little more. The higher MF added about $80 per month to the payment. Without this site would not have known about the lower MF.
