So I just got information that the $1000 loyalty only applies to consumers currently carrying any sort of loan balance or lease agreement with MB financial. Thus, my Benz that I own free and clear doesn't qualify me. For the sake of future inquiries in addition to this one, does that ring true?

MSD x 8 gets MF down to .00044. The financial analysis is clear, the return on MSD investment is a huge effective after tax 11.5% based on the savings over the course of my lease. There is nowhere else I can expect such a stellar and safe return by parking what to me is a little cash that I get back later.
So, experts, any reason not to generously give MSDs? I only come up with possible complication if ever deciding to seek a swap?
But, I'd continue to seek out a dealer that will honor the .00058 base rate, before MSDs.

I hear you on that MF base rate. The problem is, I found a retired service loaner and it's a rare duck with stuff I need to have. There's not another car around new in the region or a retired loaner with the same gear. The service loaner discount obviously is quite a bit deeper anyway. I'm sort of trapped by that car into the higher MF despite my having asked about it. I'll push more, thanks to this information.
May I ask, though, what basis do I as the customer really have for asserting let alone demonstrating that the actual MF rate should start off at the .00058 rather than the .001? It's not like I can wave an official document in their face and tell them they're charging me too much, so I'm kind of at a loss other than for saying the forum told me so.
The base rate on RWD models is .00100.
If it is AWD, just tell them you are disappointed with the MF markup.

From my research, pretty much any retired loaner gets $6,000 discount from MSRP plus or minus, at least I looked at GLE and GLC and found that was the general rule of thumb. Additionally, 500 program to dealer. Then anything else you qualify for or negotiate.

One question, He is allowing up to 10 MDS, so why not 10 Instead of 5 , would 5 MDSs bring down base MF to 0.00023 ?
7 MSDs would lower the MF to .00009, if starting from the base MF

Thank you both for the excellent information and encouragement on this forum. I got my .00058 that I would not have had without you, and I tossed in eight MSDs. Now at .00002, couldn't go any lower. The MSDs alone were worth $46 a month for my particular lease, I can't get that effective rate of return on that kind of safe investment (11.5% AFTER TAX!) if I kept 10 times the amount of money in some sort of cash equivalent.
One final thought, I went to into this thinking of a 3-year or maybe 39-month lease, and the 39-month was cheaper enough to make it worthwhile. I also got quoted on the 48-month option. The last 9 months cost an extra $200 a month. In other words, the difference in my total taxed lease payments outlay between 39 months and 48 months, the delta in how much I would pay in total for either the shorter or the longer lease, when divided by the extra 9 months means I'll keep that same car 9 more months for the effective total rate of $199.60 a month with tax. The car will still be under warranty, I shuffle between winter and summer tires so I won't need to buy new ones over that time, it was a no-brainer decision. Just like the MSDs. The alternative is getting a new expensive lease that much sooner. I tend to keep my cars longer than 3 years anyway.
So I'll be looking forward to perhaps getting a second generation 2024 GLC which comes out during calendar year 2022 (whether it's introduced as a 22 or 23 in this country I don't know).

On May 24, I have asked for the MF & RV at Zip 95129 & 95148 on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC SUV, and have quickly got the following data from kyfdx (thanks a lot for that!!):
36mos / 10k miles per year
AWD - .00058 and 55%
$500 dealer cash.
Today when I talked with one dealer, they said my desired GLC300 is in a different location and can't do the MF at .00058, instead, they can only do it at .00108. The other option is I pick up another GLC300 in their current stock (which does not have the option I want), and they can do it at .00058.
Is the MF supposed to be fixed, or it all depends on the dealer's willingness to provide? I guess my question is: is MF a negotiable factor or it's a factor that is always fixed without any room for negotiation? Also, the dealer said there is no $500 dealer cash. I guess this one should be negotiable...
First time leasing a car, still learning the various tricks of this game. Anyone has an idea about my situation here?
It's not surprising that the dealer wants more for a car that they don't have in stock.
The $500 incentive is a Mercedes to dealer incentive. They aren't required to disclose it.
