Adjusted cap cost is the selling price plus any fees or taxes you aren't paying up front.

The $1000 is likely to cover the first payment, DMV costs (roughly 1.1% of MSRP), the $650 acquisition fee and some miscellaneous states fees. Together, they add up to more than $1000, so the rest is added back into the selling price, thus the bump in payment from our calculations.

When you get the details from the dealer, we should be able to match their payment (or, at least get close).
