Hello Michael, Yes its for Purchase. The dealership told me the MSRP was 32500, but since the edmunds suggested price is 31571, he matched it.
Now i see that the Honda website has the MSRP as 31550.
Also, regarding the protection package, apparently the Mudguard doesnt come with the car and the car has it added already.

The MSRP is the price on the window sticker.

Some dealers add the aftermarket accessories and "packages" and charge outrageous prices for them.

If it were me, I would negotiate as if they didn't exist.

My girlfriend is coming off a lease on her civic in May and the dealer contacted her about her options. We were thinking of going next month and talking with them about about getting a CRV (most likely AWD EX trim). I see they have a couple left over 2019s, would it be better to try and grab one of them because the MF on the 2019 is so much better? Last time we had a lease we turned it in around a month early, seems weird to do anything 4 months out or so.

So far as I know, Honda doesn't have a pull ahead program, so you'd be on the hook for those remaining payments.

It's not like the 2020's are going away anytime soon; might as well wait until May and start shopping. Memorial Day weekend?
