Probably I am the first one to post in the 2020 thread with monthly numbers. Got an offer for 2020 Touring AWD with maintenance and windows glass protection warranty, 36 mo/36K miles:
$1,000 due at signing including first month then $400/mo inclusive for 35 months.
Is it stellar, good, neutral or bad?

    What is the MSRP?

    What is your location?
Per official MSRP on website $35,845. Wisconsin for location
Do you also have the selling price and adjusted cap cost?
I don't have unfortunately. I asked him for the best rate so that's the offer he gave for the 400 inclusive per month for 1000 due at signing.
    Sales tax is 5%?

Adjusted CAP would have to be about $33,100 to get that payment.

That seems like a reasonable deal, on a car with an average lease program.
Yes sales tax of 5%....seems "reasonable" is not that great. By all means, if you guys recommend to hold on it I trust you and Michaell here. My current lease ends in 6 months so I am not in rush for it (dealer counted equity but the net will be zero when counting the 6 months of payments left)...The dealer claimed that prices will go up and wanted me to rush in (not sure if true or just dealer's way of doing business). But in case you believe it's not a strong deal and waiting would be better, I still have 6 months to go!
Dealers always want you to 'buy today'. No reason not to wait until the current lease matures, then shop. I'm sure the 2020 CR-V will still be abundantly available.

For a new 6 months period or just for March? Do we expect better rates, same or worse? Any rumors or trend per historical years?

    Just 1 or 2 months.

No guesses or predictions on what, if any, changes are coming.

No trends to draw upon, either.

We will need specific numbers, to help you evaluate the deal.

If you can obtain a copy of the lease worksheet, that would help immensly.

    Hi all,

Wife is approaching the end of her lease of a 2017 Honda HR-V LX and would like to enter into a new lease. Can I get the residual, MF, and incentives for the following:

    2020 Honda CR-V EX AWD
    Location: 07302
    Lease terms: 36/10k

Also, do you know if she would be eligible for a loyalty incentive for sticking with a Honda?

Looking for the March numbers that begin on 3/3.

    Thanks!

I made a purchase last week in Virginia 20105, and would like to share that details.

2020 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD with trailer hitch and wheel lock installed
Out the door (including all taxes and title and registration) - $31890
0 down, 1.9% APR Honda financing.

I tried very hard to get it for $31000 OTD but turned out that is very low. I also got 2 years free servicing (oil change, tire rotation etc). So, i think i made a good deal. Please let me know.

    Thanks for all the help

    What is your ZIP code?
The trim I am looking for is Touring AWD, 36 mo/12K per year. Zip code: 53187. The offer I got from the dealer just before the March program was $1000 dues at signing including first month and all other costs then $400/mo inclusive for 35 months. So I want to know if the March program could be better than this, same or worse. Based on that I decide if I want to take it and turn in my leased car or keep waiting until my current lease ends in 6 months.
PS: I don't have the MSSRP or adjusted costs.

Let's jump to your last statement.

Wait until your current lease is up before shopping. You'll still owe those 6 payments, and they will likely end up in your new deal. Why pay for a car you aren't driving?

And, without knowing the prices, we can't help you on your February vs. March question.

Thanks. But because I have equity (low mileage and no damage to car), the dealer (an actually another dealer too) is willing to take my old lease and take care of the remaining payments. So my point was if March program is great and no need to wait, then why to wait and keep paying for 6 months where I can get a new 2020 touring rather than 2017 EXL

How do you know you have equity? Have you gotten a buy bid from CarMax, Vroom or Carvana? Do you know your lease payoff? It's usually the residual value plus the value of the remaining payments.

Rarely are leases right side up, equity wise. You should get some hard numbers, on your own, rather than rely on what dealers tell you. Their motivation is to move inventory.

"Take care of payments" is code for "we will simply roll them into the new lease and hope you don't notice"

"Take care of payments" is code for "we will simply roll them into the new lease and hope you don't notice"
Thank you. Just double checked with Carvana. The offer from the website is almost the same amount of lease pay off (RV + the remaining 6 months) so both dealers were right in terms they will take care of the remaining payments if I turn my lease in.

Now waiting on advice from you and kyfdx of whether that touring AWD deal is great, ok, or bad :)

In a simple words, is March new program better, same or worse for new lease deals?

    Any idea yet?
We can't really answer comparative questions - what trim, term and mileage are you interested in?

And without those, there isn't much we can say.

Ask the dealer for a copy of the lease worksheet.

Is there any manufacturer incentive on hybrid EXL AWD? Zip 75024, please share MF and residual value?

So prices dropped down on "evaluate my lease" at Edmunds. Lease prices of Touring AWD monthly rate dropped from 427 to 421 today. How does that work? Based on what? Related to the hybrid release or something happened after the March program?
Lastly, if I got an old offer (even way less than those numbers) but does the change means that overall prices got lower so I can negotiate more?
