The math is correct.
9% discount on a vehicle with no incentives is good.
The money factor is not marked up

The only extra I see in the whole deal is the $389 dealer fee, but given the big discount, that is negligible.

With the available lease program, this is a good deal.

Hi - maybe a different question(s) than we usually see in this forum but hope you can help provide some guidance. It is about doing a build for the Q8. The remaining 20s(at the trim level of the Q8 I want) are over-optioned even on nationwide search; of the couple of dealers I've been working with , they did suggest a build but warned of the obvious risk of the unknown programs in terms of MF/RV. They both said, they could put in for a build of a 20 or 21. Though the 21 would lag a couple months (and base MSRP would increase some) So - my questions are:
1. Would it be better to build a 20 or 21 in your opinion?
2. While I know no one can predict the future, would we typically expect the newer model to have higher MF and higher RV vs the older, outgoing model, which I've seen in some brands have very low MF...but also low RV.
Any insight or just frankly an opinion on which MY to do a build on is appreciated. Thank you!

1. I'm surprised any dealer would allow you to order a 2020 MY in June
2. While I know no one can predict the future - exactly

IMO, if you order a 2020, you at least have a baseline on the lease program, even though it could change between now and when the car arrives. For the 2021, anything is possible with the lease numbers.

If the dealer is offering .00150 as the 36 month MF, they are taking a lot of money out of your pocket.

Using the prices you've shared, and assuming all taxes and fees are paid up front, the difference is over $80/mo.

As it stands, not a good deal.

The salesman says with $5,000 down, my monthly payment would be about $760 out the door.
