The size of the security deposit is the lease payment, rounded up to the next highest $50.

Dealers do not have to participate in the MSD program.

Is conventional wisdom that MSD is a good ROI, provided you have the spare cash to park for 3 years? My simple math suggests it is. If you put down 10MSDs that might amount to $8000 total, but it knocks $50/mo off your payment - that comes out to $1800 saved (or 22.5% return on the refundable 8k investment). Maybe I'm missing something, but 20% return is pretty solid.
