    What if they fix the adjusted cap by taking off the 8% and then deducting the 1,750 to get an adjusted cap of $56,390.

    MSRP: $58,885

    Negotiated price: $51,950

    Gross Cap Cost: $59,778 (They are paying $4,921 for my X5 payments, $324 gov't fee, $1,800 in taxes)

    Money Factor: .00136 (I was approved for a lower tier)

    Monthly Payment: $650

    Downpayment: $5,500 PLUS $2,500 in incentive/rebate so it says $8,000

    Does this look like a solid deal?

    I have 7 month's of payments left and I am already over my miles, so I wanted to get out of it, plus for vanity reasons because I am tired of it.

    This deal would be for 36 months, 12,000 miles.

    I just see "Gross Cap Cost" of $59,778

    Should I ask for Net CAP?

    He said:

    Downpayment: $5,500, which includes taxes ($1,800), acquisition free $925, fees & docs, first month payment of $650 and I guess the rest is the downpayment for adjusted cap cost. He also said there is $2,500 in incentives and payments, so on the line where it says cash due, it said $8,000 (my $5,500 plus $2,500).

    Monthly payment: $650 - 12,000 milles / 36 months.

    They are rolling in 7 months worth of my X5 Payments of $703, because I am about to go over my miles, and honestly I just want a new car...

    But I can't tell if this is a fair number for $650 monthly based on above because the formula confuses me... thank you for anyone for the feedback...

    What is the adjusted cap cost for the quote?

    How many miles are you over the limit now? How many over will you be in 7 months? At .25/mile, you'd have to be 20,000 miles over the limit to equate the $5000 in payments you are eating.

    I get wanting a new car, but adding $150/mo to the payment for a car you won't be driving doesn't seem wise.

    And, if you are tier 2, then the MF is being marked up .00040, which is the max allowed by BMWFS.

    This is a bad deal, any way you look at it.
