    Both states tax the monthly payment on a lease. So, if you don't pay any taxable amounts, upfront, then there won't be any CA tax to pay. (except possibly on the first payment).

    Once BMWFS titles the car in AZ, you'll be paying AZ tax on the monthly payment, each month.

    If you were purchasing, then there would be issues

    Thank you! Dealer gave me this buy rate and sweetened the pot with $2500 off a 540i ($500 of it for TrueCar military family discount). Not bad with virtually no inventory with our prefs nearby. Thank you!
