No. Can you provide more info? Do I qualify for it is it something dealer should be providing? I actually just learned about the double taxation in TX and am a first time leaser.

In Texas, you owe sales tax on the entire selling price, even if you lease.

However, there are occasions where the dealer can offer tax credits that lower the tax rate from 6.25% to 1.25%, thus lowering the resulting lease payment.

I'd get a copy of the dealer lease worksheet for review.
