What is the adjusted cap cost? I'm pretty sure $1200 drive off won't cover everything (first payment, registration, doc fee, acquisition fee)

For leases, sales tax is paid monthly.

Also, any insight into SC sales tax? I believe It is paid on each payment but I am finding some conflicting info online where the $500 max tax due is paid upfront as well as 6% on each payment.

The $1000 is a Honda to dealer incentive. Nothing to do with loyalty

As far as I know, for SC, it's $500 upfront, and that's it.

Seems like a good deal. Your sales price is lower than the TMV.

As for the lease, I assumed .0011 for MF and 62% for residual value and my calculation shows $385.40 for your lease payment (taxes included) so that's almost dead on.

Some people will argue that the dealer fee should be equal to the cost of registration, which I assume is $75 in your state, so they push for that at the dealership. It might be an uphill battle since your sales price is pretty good - but money is money so it may be worth your time! It would take your payment down to 369.56/month w/taxes
