I ordered a 2007 v6 SE with every option available including VSC, Nav and the heated leather seat package but specifically without the sunroof. Toyota took the order without a problem and I had the car in seven weeks. To be honest, I expected something not to be as ordered (just my pessimistic view of car dealers I suppose). In any case, I was pleasantly surprised because it came in exactly as I ordered it. When I was shopping around I did find some dealers trying to persuade me not to special order the car (wanted to sell me a car off the lot). I would keep trying until you find a dealer willing to work with you.
I know the alloy wheels are standard and are 17 inch..the LE is 16 inch..but what about the rear spoiler? Because I dont see anywhere that it says it comes standard on the SE..looks like you have to get it as an option?????? Anyone know for sure?
I live in CT and bought a fully loaded (except Nav) SE V6 in super white w/dark gray charcoal interior from Lia Toyota in Wilbraham Mass for $26,600. This was thru Costco and they actually took a little more off. I think that's nuts that they are talking 35K. Look elsewhere!
some people are telling me if I am going to pay cash for the car..there are certain fees and charges they should NOT charge. I need to know before I go..can someone tell me??? Thanks very much...
I have been paying cash when buying new Toyotas and there is no difference to dealers... I had always to pay the doc. fee from $99 to $399 ... good luck ...
As an FYI, I just purchased a 2007 TCH and every time I would ask for something they will tell me oh well we can refund your $500 deposit... my point is high demand vehicle low supply and thereafter no room for negotiation...
yeah...it's an option on both the LE and SE..around 180 bucks I believe
but the SE you also get the sport tuned suspension and the different steering wheel, and interior trims and fabric as well...just check out the toyota website for all of the differences or cars direct which has the differences listed after you select 2007 camry...and of course the 17 in rims as opposed to the LE which doesn't come with rims standard and only 16 in wheels on it
I bought a Camry LE on 9/18/06 and was supposed to get it between the 22nd and 28th but I was since told that delivery was pushed back. I was wondering if this is a stall tactic that the dealer is using because I got a very good price ($20500 for LE, moonroof pkg and mats) and he is hoping I will cancel so he can get out of the deal. My understanding is that this is a good bargain and I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them.
Called at 4 PM yesterday afternoon to Toyota of Bend (I live in the Portland area, 200 miles away). They delivered the car that same evening. Totally courteous and professional experience the whole way.
Price Paid: 25,900 Base 580 Destination 470 C&C Pkg - CQ 940 Sunroof - SR 1,300 Leather - LA 295 Spoiler - RS 199 Mats - CF 29,684 Price for Vehicle - MSRP (hey it's a Hybrid and I got it the same day!!) NO SALES TAX, it's another benefit to living in paradise. 218 DMV includes $50 dealer document fee 29,902 Out the door, actually delivered to my house.
BTW, the previous day I called Beaverton Toyota about a TCH they had listed on thier website. They told me it was in stock and available to buy. I called again yesterday at 1 PM and they said yes, it's still here and we'll get it out front for you. When we arrived we got a song-and-dance routine about inventory, stock listings, blah-blah-blah. I asked if they have that car to sell me today and they said no; I said good-bye. Went home and called Toyota of Bend; for a continuous play go to the beginning of this message. Thanks for listening, Greg
After a long time of search, I finally got my 07 Camry/Silver from Pat Lobb Toyota at McKinney of Texas (North of Plano along highway 75)
Price:
$19500. Window price for the car is 22663(Rear Spoiler, Alloy Wheel, Vehicle Shield Package). Dealer added carpets and tint.
$500 for trade-in (91 Camry of 182k miles)
OTD: 20356.23
I cannot resist sharing my happiness. This is new dealer in DFW area (Opened July/2006) and people working there are very nice and professional. I really enjoy my buying experience. Currently they have over 40 Camrys on the lot. I can find my Silver one easily. I feel I am lucky to drive a little more for this great buying.
In DFW area, it’s hard to get the price described in this forum. I highly recommend people in Dallas area try Pat Lobb Toyota at McKinney/Texas. I wish you had the same experience as I had.
The 2007 Camry Hybrid receives an increase of $300, or 1.2 percent. Camry Hybrid pricing is effective with vehicles produced on or after November 1, 2006 for U.S. production or vessel arrivals on or after October 30, 2006. The Camry Hybrid will carry a base MSRP of $26,200.
Have been trying to purchase a Camry LE from Manhattan Toyota, NYC - No special equipment. Placed down payment and was told 7-10 days delivery, that was 6 weeks ago! Now they tell me it will be at least another 6-8 weeks because Toyota is delaying all manufacturing to do Sunroof Problems. Even for cars without Sunroofs. Sounds pretty phony, doesn't it! Do you think I can get my deposit back?
That's unfortunate. And I'm not a lawyer, but if the contract you signed with the deposit stated a delivery date/ and or a 'reasonable time' of delivery... then YES... get your money back.
I have had the same problem and I have heard that if you order a car and someone else wants to pay a better price they will move you down on the list. If on the deal they specified a delivery date or time frame and have not performed, then by all means you can get your money back. Put the request in writing and give it to the dealer and keep a copy of it. Then demand your money back.
well i'm guessing it's the standard toyota deposit for car order which I signed as well. basically i wrote them a $500 check, which they didn't cash, and just hold on file...when the car comes...you are under no obligation to purchase the car, you just have the right of first refusal on it...and also the deposit is totally refundable (althouhg since they didn't cash it for me, it just meant they won't cash it after i decline the car). however, i'm excited for my car, and obviously will be purchasing it.
I am planning to buy 2007 Camry LE, automatic in Irvine area in coming 2 weeks. I am not sure about the Camry market in Southerm CA and I would like to know from fellow buyers what is good walkout (OTD) price.
Buyers in CA please tell me what your experiences have been.
I just bought an LE V6 AT with the floor mats and no other options in So Cal. I had three dealers at $200 over invoice. You can try Cabe Toyota of Long Beach or Garden Grove Toyota. The Power Toyota dealership chain (Irvine, Cerritos etc.)in So Cal does not offer the best price. Be prepared to walk away if they do not provide you a good price. My OTD was 23,906. I did not finance with the dealership. To get the color I wanted I had to wait for a couple of weeks.
Am looking to buy a new Camry and wanted to know how much people paid around the BayArea - i live in Sunnyvale and can travel some miles if i can find a great deal. Is it possible to get a 2007 Camry LE v4 OTD for 20,000 or is it very difficult. Was looking for even 2006 models if they still had some left so that i can get a good deal but i havent found a dealer yet.
Hi - I'm looking to buy in San Diego. Wanted to know how much SoCal residents are paying for this model (magnetic gray) out the door. Also, on other websites, I've seen a LOT of postings that this model has transmission problems. Anyone had any probs or heard anything? THANKS for any feedback!
I just picked up my 2007 Camry LE with mats and Moonroof Pkg. I paid $20650 including fees but not sales tax. The list on the car was $22535. So far I love the car; the 4cyl engine and 5 speed tranny is fine. Plenty of pep for me and very comfortable to drive. I am 6'3" tall and 240lbs.
Hi - Planning to purchase a Camry LE v6 in the next wk or so and I'm interested in knowing what others have paid in the Dallas/Texas area. Are there any recommended dealerships, good buying experiences, etc.
I live in San Antonio and thought I'd check with you to see what you thought of this quote I received on a 2007 Camry CE with no options (OTD 20,614.92)
I live in Rhode Island but I bought the car at a dealership in Mass. If you live near here I can give you the name of the dealership. This is the second time I bought a car from them and both times there wasn't a dealership that could match their price.
I would like to know if a price of $29,000/- approx. is a good deal for a 2007 Camry XLE V6 with DVD Navigation system and heated seats. I live around the Philadelphia, PA area.
The one thing that I have noticed after talking to about 7-8 dealers is that they are not ready to negotiate on the price quoted and most of the time, the price quoted is just $200-$300 shy of the MSRP.
Chambersburg or Gaithersburg are both reasonable locations to you. Prices are posted, great dealership, call them if you need to order something not on the web.
Try Fitz Mall, Baltimore Md., used them as a method to obtain best price in St. Louis area and then purchased car for matching price without having to fly out and drive car back or have it shipped.
I want to purchase a Camry SE.l.with rear spoiler and body side moldings..what is the most I should pay for it? I want to be ready BEFORE I get to a dealer. I live in south Florida

the spoiler that is standard is the underbody spoiler

'07 XLE I4, Magnetic Grey/Ash leather, heated seats, VSC, body side molding, mudguards and carpeted floor mats for $25,375 including destination.
Should I take myself out for a beer or to the wood shed?
Fitzmall has one at $500 over dealer invoice for $23,420 with mats, VSC/TC, Moonroof and rear spoiler.
I wouldn't pay over $200 over dealer invoice.
so they are pulling your leg there, i would look elsewhere
Thanks
One dealer is quoting this:
Model# 2552 LE Camry (V6) 5 speed automatic - FE AW SR CF EF V5
MSRP------$25,577
Your internet price - $24,577
Is this a good deal ?
Thanks.
I wouldn't pay more than $200 over dealer invoice or about $23,250 and I hope it is a 6 speed automatic.
