At least we're in agreement on something! It's a '66.

EXACTLY!
I pulled out a couple of old car spotter books I had tucked away and they did show the Polara has the brightwork behind the wheels and the Matador does not. 1960 seems like a weird year at Mopar. Chrysler and DeSoto looked decent, but Dodge and Plymouth were a little rude, if not plain old extreme.
Sorry Andy, but 'Motorbase' is incorrect. Motorbase doesn't even list the Polara for 1960, only 'Polara500 '62-'64'. The pic is definitely a '60 Polara, not a Matador.

Obviously the Charger ('69?) and the Dash is from the '67 Mustang 390.
'65 Galaxie coming up the hill? And a beetle infront of a 356 Porsche on the RH side parked.
and a large assortment of mid-60s american cars!

The taxi looks like it's a '67 Ford. Next to the black '65 Ford appears to be a '65 Plymouth and a grey mid 60s Caddy appears to be crossing the intersection.
Parked just behind the cab looks like a '65-'66 Plymouth or Chrysler. If you get the big picture you see a '66 Impala coupe just beyond the VW. That's about all I can make out.

Porsche says the red cabrio is a 1952 356
which is the oldest Porsche in the US to be brought into this country via the official Porsche-authorized distribution channel, it once belonged to Max Hoffman the legendary importer who had a hand in the creation of the 356 speedster the 300SL and the BMW 507.
Porsche acknowledges an even older car in America, a 1950 356 Cabriolet originally sold in Austria but later sent to the US.
