    oh momma that is so purdy........look at that rear window line and just the hint of a fin. That's about the loveliest most discreet classically styled postwar Cadillac they ever made....maybe a tad too much chrome but compared to later Cadillacs it is positively Amish.

    It's a replica Alfa Romeo 1750 Zagato. IIRC they (A-R) made a small number during the late 60s or early 70s using then current Alfa running gear.

    I'm not sure but I think it's one of a class of cube type vehicles currently poular in China.

    The really interesting part is that it was done by the same two companies that did the original - Alfa Romeo and Zagato. It would be kind of like Ford building a Model T in the '60s, with a 289 V8.

    I assume it is a Beetle, I saw quite a few when I was in Rio (mid 70s) and they're fairly small but I s'pose it could be built on a Type 12 as was the SP-2.

    Puma also used Chevrolet engines, I'm reading here, and started out with DKW licensed two-stroke engines. There was also a Puma II with Alfa engines.

    Looking at those wheels, it could be a Euro-model... maybe a 325ti.. with M-sport package...

    Notice the awkward way Studebaker tried to graft quad lights onto the '57 fenders. If you really want to seen an abomination, look at the Packard Hawk. I can't believe Danbury Mint actually released a diecast model of perhaps one of history's ugliest cars. Well, it didn't cost them much for tooling as they already had an excellent model of the 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk on which to base it.

    Sorry for not answering earlier, 3274 is a Veryca, some Chinese delivery van. It has some really small tires and looks very disproportioned and tippy.

    Yeah, it's sad the way the chrome trim lines up with the lights that are just too wide. Stude was all about the cost cutting then. The 58 Packard was probably the worst death experienced by any great old name. The Hawk was a bug eyed nightmare, and the rest of them were just sad. A wagon could be cool though.

    Sounds like Danbury Mint used the same cost-cutting logic Studebaker used - a new model for little extra dough. I bet they sold as well, too.

    Speaking of those overpriced little models, I once found some at an estate sale for $4 each. Maybe they were Franklin Mint - detailed little 1:43 cars. Off to ebay they went...I like toy cars, but not those.

    actually it's much better looking than the horror show they did with the Packard Hawk and for all it's faults I think it's better looking than say a '58 Ford or Edsel.

    I agree with you. Ford style was kind of on and off around that time. I liked the looks of the '57 (although I understand it was a piece of cr*p), thought the '58 probably scared puppies, liked the '59 a lot, and felt the '60 had the same qualities as the '58. Starting with the '61, I thought they had a good run at least through '67.

    Rolls of course...gonna guess a Phantom IV or V...I can never get the timelines right, but probably a V as a III would be prewar and a IV being early postwar. Maybe late 50s/early 60s. The mid 60s models were much more elegant IMO.

    I'm almost positive The Graduate featured a Duetto. Was their a round-tailed Spider that wasn't a Duetto?

    BTW the Ford Cortina GXL is a '72 and the styled wheels are painted steel, not chrome, my 'bro had the same on his 1970 Capri 1600.

    I've tried to forget the Camargue. What a weird ugly ill-proportioned thing it was. My first 1:18 model was a Camargue.
