Won't be able to tell you which combination results in the lower payment without knowing the MSRP and selling price of the car.

However, here are the MF and RV for the lease terms you requested:

27/12 - 67%

MF is .00025 for 24 months, .00065 for anything longer than 25 months.

$1750 lease cash.

I have a friend at Lexus Corporate who just gave me a quote for a lease on a GS 350 with MSRP of $54,578 reduced down to $49,282. With a down payment of $2,500 and rebate of $2,172.54 on a 24 month lease, I was quoted $391.24 + $31.30 (tax) = $422.54/month with 12K miles per year.

Based on that, can I find out what the MF would be? Also, using the same information, would it be possible for me to estimate the payments on a 36 month/12K miles lease? I'm in So Cal but the car would be from Northern Cal.

$422/mo on a car that stickers for almost $55K seems too good to be true - but if it is, I see no reason to jump on it.

How does someone from Lexus Corporate give you a sales quote - don't you have to work with a dealer?

He does have to go through a dealership and this was the information I was quoted. I'm trying to reproduce these numbers through various online calculators and I can't seem to get it using the MF you provided and RV that I got in the quote. It is a great deal, but I want to produce numbers for various other GS's with varying MSRPS (different options) and also for varying lease terms and mileage.

Yeah, I can't make the numbers work, either. I'm getting a very low payment if I use the MSRP of $54,578 and a net cap cost of $44,609 (49,282 - 2500 - 2172.54). RV for 24/10 on the GS350 is 70% and the MF is .00025 - that gets me a pre-tax payment of $287.57 (!!!).

I think something is wrong with the prices - specifically, the selling price both before and after the incentives and down payment.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone here. I leased a 2014 GS and with your help my payment is only $480/mo (before tax). Only out of pocket cost was the deposit to lower the money factor and I rolled all costs including excess wear & use insurance into the monthly lease payment. I think I've figured out what they've done. The dealership is hiking up the MF. I want confirm a few things with you first tho:

24/12: MF=0.00025, RV=69%

36/12: MF=0.00065, RV=59%

This is for Southern California. Would you kindly confirm these for me? Thanks!

P.s. Would there be any difference through the various trims (i.e. Luxury package, F-Sport package, etc.)? This is for RWD only.

I confirm both the residual value and MF.

The only difference in RV is for the GS Hybrid - they are 1% lower than RWD or AWD. No difference for trim levels or packages.

MF can increase due to a different credit tier and/or dealer greed.

I went to a dealership last night in So Cal and it seems that the MF and RV are the same. The incentive is now $2200, but they are no longer doing the first month payment incentive like last month.

Hi @kyfdx, Glad to hear your still moderating here. You have been helping me out since 2005 with info on Edmunds for 3 different lease deals.

A quick following up question on the MF quoted above. It seems money factor was .00025 for leases with terms 24 months or less last month and then .00065 for lease terms longer than 24 months. Is this still the case or is it all .00065? I am in the SE if that matters.

Do MSD with Lexus drop MF's .00008 each?

Are there any incentives 27 month residuals like last month?

Finally can you confirm 24/15K=67%, and 27/15K=64% ?

Dealer offering car at 53,489 including incentive cash of 2,200

5k down - monthly payment of 619 w/tax

Based off the forum seems like a bad deal..

Yes, MF is inflated on you in this quote (are you sure the MF isn't .0015?). And, we don't recommend you putting money down on a lease - if the car is stolen or totaled, you are out that money.

With my MF and RV and your MSRP and selling price, I get a pre-tax payment of $554.26 for 36 months.

Then they automatically added in the F and I add on junk and when I questioned it they told me it was REQUIRED by Lexus and I had to pay for it if I wanted the car. Later in the evening I verified this was untrue with Lexus Financial and they have opened a complaint case and are contacting management.

That deal is not good at all. I just leased a 2014 GS 350 AWD with a sticker price of $57k for $452 + tax per month with a total of $1475 out of pocket.

I know money down on a lease isn't the way to go - you lose it in case of a theft or your car is totaled in an accident.

Does a trade-in on a lease work the same way? In other words, it just reduces the cap cost and you lose it if the car is stolen or totaled?

Yes, trade equity works the same as cash down - and would be lost if stolen or totaled. Much better for you to have the dealer cut you a check for any equity you have in your trade in.

GAP insurance is provided by Lexus.

First time getting a lease here. I went to the westside Lexus dealer in Houston like another poster today. He's estimating $750 for 36mo/15k. That seems like a lot based on what you all are saying even though it's 0 down. I looked at an F Sport with msrp of 58403. Is there an amount I should be targeting? Is it better to go with 27 months? Please help!

Hard to say ... use the pricing tools at the top of the page to determine what your target selling price should be, then negotiate to it (or below, if you can).

$750 does seem like a lot, but remember that in Texas the sales tax is applied to the entire selling price of the car, not just on the monthly payment. This will make your payment higher than you'll see for other states.

36/15 numbers for the GS350 are 56% residual and .00065 MF. $2200 lease cash is also available.

Thanks. After contacting 2 dealers in south Florida im being told there are no more 2014 models available. Are there any numbers available for the 2015's yet? I didn't even know they were out as the Lexus website still only has the 2014 configurator available.

I would be interested in 27 months or 36 months. Both wou 15k miles per year.

RUN TO NORTH SIDE LEXUS! Talk to David Gardner who is the internet manager. No BS there. My only negative with them is it looks like they dealer addons to the cars. Tint, Plastic protective film, etc etc. Negotiate all that off.
