Do you have the March numbers for a 2015 Lexus GS 350 F Sport for a 10k, 36 mo lease in Colorado?
They are offering $1,800 in lease cash with $0 due at signing with a complimentary 1st month's payment. $529 per month for an MSRP of $56,670. Seems like a great deal - any thoughts?

.00090 MF and 65% residual. The $1800 lease cash and complimentary 1st payment is a Lexus promotion.
Of course, you'll have tax and registration/title fees on top of that..
On a whim my wife went and checked out a 2015 GS 350 AWD Sport with Navigation (and trunk package). The MSRP is $56,670 including $925 fee.
My wife didn't get the sales price, but she got the following: MSRP: $56,670 Money Down: $0 down Term: 36m/18,000 miles Money Factor: 0.0009 Residual: $33,335.40 Payment: $586.80
I'm assuming its easy enough to back into the sales price. Using an online calculator and assuming the payment includes the 6.35% CT sales tax, it looks like its around $50,500, which includes about $1,400 in fees due at signing.
My two questions are, does this seem like a good deal and two is this March deal really something I need to try to pull off or are the terms typically the same each month, outside of the $1,800 rebate and the first month payment. I have one payment left on my current lease which they would take care of which is factored into the above. That payment is $500. I am swamped at work and would have a heck of a time pulling this off today especially since I haven't even seen the car. But if this seems worth it I may at least try.

It's hard to say whether the $1800 lease cash and complimentary first payment will stick around for April - we won't know until later this week at the earliest.
Ask your wife to get the net cap cost from the dealer, then we can model the payment.
For the GS, the current numbers are .00090 and 62% for 36/15 - if you want the extra miles, you pay for them up front as a deduction from the residual. Usually cost .10-.25 per mile.f
$587/mo for a car that stickers at almost $57K is a decent deal, but the devil is in the details.
Thank you for your reply. Got this from the salesman.
Total Cap Cost is $50,365.39. Fee's are the same as I stated previously $1576. Taxes are included but 7% for Luxury Tax (anything sold over 50k in CT). We are just using your DMV up front (plates = $178).
I continue to lease cars even though I always go way over the miles due to my commute and my not wanting to pay off a 5-year loan and have 110K miles on the car. I have a Maxima right now which is 15 cents a mile, so I'll owe about $2,500. Should I try to build more into the lease or just keep paying at the end. Lexus is 25 cents.
As for the lease, my biggest question is this such a great deal that I need to go crazy today to do? If it saves a few bucks over a typical month, its not worth it to me. I know there are no crystal balls, but generally speaking. Thsi would be my car and the fact I haven't seen it and would need to take delivery today when I work over an hour from the dealership makes it quite tough.

I've found that it never pays to make such a large financial decision on the spur of the moment.
As you say, no crystal balls, but I can't imagine large changes in the program month to month. I'm just not sure about the continuation of the lease cash and the complimentary first payment.

You really do learn something new every day. I had no idea there is a 7% Luxury Tax on things costing more than $50K in our fair state. Then again, I'm not in a position to buy or lease a $50K car. I'm going to agree with the hosts here that leasing a Lexus GS for 3 years isn't something I'd want to rush into either. We all agree that there are no crystal balls. I'm also pretty sure Lexus isn't going to sell out production anytime soon.
Take your time. Shop around. I'm not sure where in CT you are, but I live very close to the NY border. I've found some of the NY dealers are more aggressive price wise and there's also the dreaded "CONVEYANCE FEE" that each dealer in CT tacks on to whatever the selling price of the car is.
When shopping for my 2015 Legacy, the dealer by my house in Stamford actually had a cheaper selling price, but once I factored in their $379 conveyance fee, the dealer where I ended up buying (in Rye, NY right off 95 on my way home) came out $100 cheaper. You just have to take the big picture into consideration as well. My Dad recently leased a 2015 Tahoe from H & L Chevrolet in Darien. He charges a $479 Conveyance fee, but no dealer would come anywhere near his selling price.
I'm not sure where you commute from/to, but I drive about 65 miles per day (6 days a week) round trip between Stamford, CT & The Bronx, NY. I think you are making a smart move by leasing, especially a Luxury Car. The depreciation from the higher mileage cars will kill you. Five hundred something a month is a lot cheaper than $833 for the 60 month loan payment. Especially if you like to switch cars every 3 years or so. Let's say you drive 20K per year. In 3 years, you go trade your car in and the dealer has a few of the same on his lot. Except the cars on his lot were driven back and forth to the train station 5 days a week and out to dinner /to the golf club on weekends (just saying, this is CT) and literally have 40K less miles than your car.

Anyone lease a used lexus? A great dealer by me is offering a 36/15k month lease on a 2013 GS 350 AWD with 17,000 miles loaded with nav, blind spot, park assist, cold weather and park assist for $403/month with NJ tax and $575 cap cost reduction. We've been seriously considering leasing a new Cadenza but the GS 350 has always been on my radar, albeit a little too high in price.
I've been offered a deal and wondering if it makes sense. Originally walked in on the 449/36month 3499 down deal on a 56K GS350 AWD F sport with nav. There seems to be room for negotiation. Original MF 0.0090

.00090 and 60% for 36/15. Extra miles can be purchased up front for .20 per mile.
Thanks for the leasing information. The local dealer here says the MF is .00095 rather than .00090. Not that it makes a huge difference in price.
Looks like a new F Sport may be in my future. I hate that Texas charges tax on the full value of the vehicle though. I believe Texas and Illinois are the only two states that do that.

GA, VA, MD and a few more, now... Illinois actually has gone the other way.. No longer on the full price.
I am looking at a 36mth 15k yr lease in South Florida and have the following questions: What is the residual value of this lease? What are the current incentives that I should expect? How can I confirm I am offered all the dealer incentives? What are my options or what else should I make sure I know if I am looking to pay for the entire lease upfront?

Thanks again to the Mods and everyone else on this forum. I picked up a 2015 GS FSport RWD tonight. Here are the terms of the lease deal
MSRP $57,043
Initial Cap Cost $51,915 Lease Cash -$2,300 Cap adds $1,473 (Lease acquisition fee and dealer fee) Adjusted Cap Cost $51,088
15K miles per year, 36 Month term Residual 60% of MSRP $57,043 = $34,220.40
Money Factor .00075
Base Payment $532.52 Taxes $15.98
Total Payment $548.50
Only first payment of $548.50 due at signing nothing else.
All done via email. The dealership had me in and out in 1 hour and 15 minutes, very quick.
Well Done! That's a huge discount off sticker! Under $550 per month including tax for a $57K car is spectacular!
Thanks NYCcarguy. I am very happy with the deal and the car. I forgot to mention there was no trade involved and I got the dealer to throw in a $700 wheel and tire insurance package for me to come in the last night off the month to sign and take delivery.
Can I please have the May numbers for a GS350 in south Florida 12k & 15k miles per year. All terms up to 48 months (whichever the sweet spot is of course) Also, is there any lease cash available? Thanks in advance.

Sweet spot is (as is usually the case) 36 months ... 60% residual for 36/15. Add 2% for 12K.

Get the selling price & money factor so we can assess your deal better. Oh, & find out what the dealer's "doc fee" or "processing fee" is.

Without the net cap cost, we can't fully evaluate the deal, but $415/mo does seem like a pretty good payment for a car that stickers at $57K.

.00090 MF and 65% residual.
$2999 CAP cost reduction (money from buyer for downpayment
$1800 Lexus lease cash
$1500-$1600 dealer discount from MSRP
CAP cost somewhere around $50,000
Due at signing.. $3699 ($2999 CAP reduction + $700 acq.fee)
Lexus covers the 1st payment..
That's off the RWD model, but the numbers are pretty close and the MF and residual are exact.

I think they go through FLEET sales instead of individual personal sales and this is how I got such a great deal
for a 61 k stickered car (NYC)
Zero down
just acquisition and typical fees at signing
500 a month
this is a 60k + car
SO happy ( I am not here to advertise the company I used either, just to try to go through a broker company as they get better deals)

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the reply in the E-class forum for my question the other day.
What would the residual be for 24 and 27 months for a 2015 GS350 AWD, and 2015 GS350 AWD F-sport. 20k miles a year?
Thanks!

Without the net cap cost, we can't fully evaluate the deal, but $415/mo does seem like a pretty good payment for a car that stickers at $57K.
Base MF is being used, so that's good.
