Hi, I am looking to lease a 2015 Sonata Limited with Tech Package in Cleveland, OH. The MSRP is $30,850. What is a reasonable negotiated price for this car? Also, my terms are 36 mths with 15,000 miles/yr. so what is the RV and MF? Thanks!

I plugged the factors into the excel spreadsheet lease calculator I put together when I was looking (made it much easier to model a bunch of scenarios). I came up with ~ $319 before tax, with nothing up front but 1st payment and DMV fees.

$135/month with $1100 down seems to be an unusually low deal, isn't it? Can you please specify the trim, how many miles/year and the breakdown of the lease like MSRP, Cap cost, residual and moneyfactor? Also where are you located?

I explained my lease deal earlier in this thread. Basically the dealer was advertising 3 yr/36,000 mile lease deal for $104/month plus taxes, title, etc. with $1,100 down. The MSRP was $22,380 plus a couple of dealer add-ons and dealer handling to equal $23,567.00. The car was discounted to $18,500 then the $2,000 lease cash from Hyundai was subtracted. The actual price of the car was around $16,500. The residual was $13,200. The car was an SE without backup camera or electric driver's seat with 600 miles on it. It was exactly the deal I needed at the time.

Individual packages and options do not affect the lease numbers.
Also, Hyundai does not offer 24 month leases on the Sonata.

Ask them what the net cap cost is, and how they arrived at that number from the selling price. Good place for hidden fees ...

For 36 months and 12,000 miles per year, the lease numbers on the Sonata ECO are .00001 and 55%. $1400 lease cash. Specific options or packages do not change those numbers.

Hyundai only offers 15K leases; more miles are purchased up front at the rate of .10-.25 per mile, which is then deducted from the calculated residual.
