    Customer Rebate -1550.00
    so selling price 53090.86 before tint, taxes and documentation fee. I remember you commented that 4-6% discount is good deal but is that before the rebate or after?

    Also can I get MF and RV for 10K/12K/15K?
    Also how many MSD I can purchase with Audi?

    FWD or Quattro?

    4-6% off MSRP before any incentives.

    MSD program allows 9, each of which reduces the MF by .00005

    36/15 residual is .00092 and 55%. Add 2% for 12K and 3% for 10K

    Which engine - 2.0T, 3.0T or TDI?

    The MF we will quote is for top tier credit ... can't get any better than that.

    OK. Just had my first visit with dealer and it was interesting. Here are the specifics:

      - 2016 A6 2.0 Quattro; Premium Plus, S Line, 20" Wheels, Bose; 36 months, 12K/year

      - MSRP 57,270
      - Selling Price 55,000
      - Fees
      - Proc/Doc Fee 798
      - Acq Fee 695
      - Govt Fees 675
      - Gross Capitalized Cost 56,493
      - Residual Value 32,644
      - Rebate 1,550
      - Cash Cap Reduction 2,500
      - Net Cap Cost 54,010
      - Total out of Pocket 2,500 - Cash Cap Reduction

      Lease Payment $689/month including tax

      I tried to get all the #'s (Money factor, etc) from them but they were just jumping around.

    5% off is just okay... but, the $800 doc fee is criminal.

    I get $673/mo., using the base MF and residual. So, it doesn't look like they are marking up the money factor... Considering that doc fee, I'd want at least another $1000-$1500 off.

    Any chance of getting the latest RV and MF for a '16 A6 3.0 Prestige, 36 mos. / 10k and 12k?

    I had a dealer in MD quote me 52% and 0.00169 (for 10k) last week. Those numbers seem juiced a bit based on what I've seen here. Also was told numbers varied by state, which runs counter to your advice -- losing trust in the dealer.

    Wow, wrong on both counts. I show .00069 and 52% for 36/12. MF is marked way up.

    So far as we know, the Audi numbers are national. Might be time to reach out to another dealer.

    For the state of Virginia I was told car sales tax is based on the total purchase price of the car not just the lease payments portion. Can you provide some guidance into this?

    Maybe a dumb question, but it is normal for everyone (with good credit) to get the base MF (after I'm sure some back and forth) or is that more of a target to get close to in negotiations?

    I would say that most Audi dealers mark up the money factor.. And, some won't budge. Others will lower it, through negotiation.

    Has anyone around Chicago had luck with a dealer leasing at or near the base rate? If so, please PM me the dealer you worked with. Having a hard time getting past .00094 (for 3.0T Prem Plus 36 month) and that adds a fair amount of extra to the monthly payment.

    2016 Audi A6 Prestige. MSRP $66,120. Final sell price of $58,830 (including 2K rebates). 42 months, 12k miles a year with $3,000 down + $3663.61 (taxes and fees). Monthly payment of $655 in the state of VA.
