Can anyone help me out. I got a quote of 410 a month with just 1st payment and mv fees for a 2016 xle.
Does that seem like a good deal? If not if anyone had the residual value and money factor for the long Island, NY area can you share. Last thing I'd I have 3 payments left on a gmc acadia, is it better to wait until lease is paid off in 3 months, my fear is that the prices on the 17 highlander will not be as flexible as they are on the current 16.

What is the MSRP and the adjusted cap cost?

We'd only be guessing without that information.

Generally we suggest you wait until your lease is up.

Don't have specific numbers for NY, but there is a range of .00075 to .00124 in other parts of the country.

We have a 2014 Highlander lease that is about to end in a few months. Our residual is 24750. Does that mean that (the residual value) is the price to buy the car?

I think the trade in value is about 26,000. So, we have little to no equity at the moment due to the fact that we still have a few payments left. Just confused since we have been getting emails saying we can swap out our current lease for a new one for no money and the same payment.

Dealers will often send you literature like that to get you to the dealer.

The residual value is the price at which you can buy the car at the end of the lease (plus sales tax, of course). Very rarely does one have equity at lease end.

How many payments do you have left? Might be easier to just ride out the current lease, then make a deal when you're done.

PLEASE confirm this is for AWD - 64%/63% residual for LTD/Plat. and .00149 MF

The 2017 is just arriving at dealers so interested in the comparison (especially if 2016 residual is much less)

Since I'm paying $452 including taxes, which is 9.25% sales tax in TN, $404/month + $38 (tax) = $442. I'm paying like $10 extra based on your calculation.

Considering this, is this a good deal? There's nothing I can do about it now as I've taken the delivery of the car but atleast have some satisfaction that I didn't get a raw end of the lease deal. Any comments are appreciated?

Raw? Nah. $360 over the lease term isn't a huge deal. I wouldn't worry too much about it - go enjoy your new Toyota!

You get to drive and enjoy it long after you've forgotten about the financial aspect of the deal.
