I have a quick question...The MF and residual % provided above is based on leasing through Chrysler Capital? I understand Chrysler created a joint venture with Santander Capital to provide financing and leasing support to the network of dealers as well. Are the MF and residual % also the same for Santander Capital?

No information on whether these numbers are the same for Santander.

The MF from Chrysler is way lower, but so is the residual. And, we don't have any incentive information available.

The 3rd party leases often price out better because of the incentives, but remember, a 3rd party bank is not as interested in maintaining your business after this lease is up. Which means they may be more strict about damage at the lease end inspection.

Confirm the adjusted cap cost with the dealer. They could also be marking up the MF for more profit.

The $1707 is likely the tax on the incentives. What is the tax rate where you live?

Why not just pay $8720 = $242 per month instead of messing around with the 7% cost of capital on the lease??? Looks like it adds a ton of cost ($242 vs. $438)???

If through Chrysler Capital, we show .00009 MF and 57% residual

If this is through an independent bank, we don't have the numbers.
Are there actually $4300 in rebates or does that include a dealer discount?
If it's all rebates, why no discount from MSRP?

Do you really need to hire a broker for $300?

Let me find out more info, these numbers were explained over the phone by the broker,
Not sure which bank the broker is going through but it does seem off with your numbers for MF and RV

I just found out about this section of Edmunds website recently and still figuring out MF and RV details.

I believe the only rebate is $1250 at the moment from Jeep until end of the month for lease deals.
(its $2k for purchase deals)
The rest Im guessing is dealer discount which on their website is showing as various line items like
$500 COLLEGE
$500 MILITARY CASH
$1000 LEASE Conquest
$1000 CHRYSLER cash capital
$1000 RETURNING LESEE CASH

Maybe dealer is extending this to me as a dealer discount though i don't tecnically qualify for any of these offers.

Do I need a broker?
I'm not sure, never leased a new car before, so I thought some experienced help might avoid shady car salesman tactics - broker said he could get best price and lease deal and speak directly with fleet manager but that's after I agree to deal, so nothing has been paid yet.

I tried asking for a fleet manager at the Jeep Dealer on my first day of shopping when i went into dealer and salesman said Jeep don't have fleet managers?

Confused but will try again to get more defined numbers and get back to you

They've come back and quoted $604/mo pre-tax. Matching RF and res. I don't understand why their price could be so high. Where are they hiding those extra costs? I am trading in a car, and only putting down your reccomended first payment and DMV costs from that, while getting the remaining balance cash back. Of course, they're taking the small amount that I owe on the car. I don't believe there is anything there...

Confirm the adjusted cap cost the dealer is using - if higher than the $48,250 you shared with me, have them explain how they got to their number.

If the MF and residual match what I've stated, then the only variable left is the price.
