Confirm the adjusted cap cost with the dealer - if higher than the $26,500, find out what's been added.

If it's the same price, the dealer has marked up the MF on you for more profit.

Ok, Never leased before and looking at some of these numbers, I think I'm getting taken.

Trade 14,5000 but owe 16,900 - going to another dealer for a better value due to a recall issue and the dealer says they are not allowed to sell it in NY until its fixed, so has to wholesale it. I do know they can't sell it, but they also own the ford dealer next door.
With taxes and fees put my balance at 37559
39 month 432.56 @ 61% residual
42 month 423.15 @ 58%

Is it wise to go more than 36 months due to the warranty ending?

I'd confirm the cap cost; your quotes look pretty good.

How much is due at signing?

Any reason you are getting out of your existing vehicle with negative equity? If you wait, that amount will certainly reduce.

1645 at signing, I have another dealer that says he can beat my current deal, will know tomorrow. wish me luck. The reason for trading in, is that it's a plug in car, miss my pathfinder (size, holding capicity) have 2 dogs that I have to transport weekly for training, no trunk space due to the large battery, have to put golf clubs in the back seat as well as any luggage or anything larger due to size constraints. When gas was almost 4 a gallon, it was a wise investment at this point, not so much, plus I got my fed rebate so I'm not actually negative in a sense.

With those prices, I get $269.51/mo including tax.

Ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is - if higher than the $29K, find out what's been added.

Is there also the 595 bank fee for leases? It was quoted on a Forester but omitted on the OB. This makes up the difference after double checking.

I have quotes now for a 2.5i Premium with Starlink for $29,262 MSRP down to $25,200 and the $30,830 2.5i Premium down to $26,585.

Now I get $341/mo plus tax.
