Is there any money due at signing? I get $308/mo using the MSRP and initial cap cost. If I add the acq and dealer fees to the cap cost, the payment goes up to $334/mo

Hello again, Michaell! Oops, I forgot to mention a $1,000 loyalty cash reduction (I currently lease with VW). Do you think I should push for a better MF such as the one you mention or at least .00005? That was the MF they applied three years ago for my current lease (another Passat). I would politely tell them I wouldn't sign a deal with a marked up MF. They know what the base rate is.

Be direct with the dealer about the tax situation; you may have to escalate to the finance manager.
