This is my first post. I'm in Northern California looking to lease the new 2017 Mazda CX-5 Touring FWD/AWD with Preferred Equipment Package.Looking for residual & MF 36 mo/12k or 36mo/10k. please help.
I got one quote "2017 Mazda CX-5 Touring AWD Touring with Preferred Equipment Package" for Monthly payment: $411+tax, $0 Down, 36 months, 12k miles, Residual 18263.Is this a fair deal? And how much will be tax here?
.00084 MF and 62%/63% residual
$411/mo.+tax looks like a terrible deal. I don't know your local tax rate.
Hi, thanks for the help. I got a similar deal as above in So Cal, except that cap price is 31,800. Payments came out to $384, $417 after tax. Thoughts on this? Same car/package as above, 36 mo., 12k miles, $1,000 down including 1st payment. Tax is 8.25%.

Need to know the MSRP and selling price.
We recommend you limit your out of pocket to just the first payment and DMV costs.
Hi, I got a quote for the following. AWD GT at $33465 with 8.875% tax (NYC) 36/10k for 399/mth with 0 down. Only taxes and DMV fees due at signing. Is this reasonable?
The MSRP is 30635 selling price 31600 (including 6% Florida tax, 599 dealer fee and 180 title and tags)
How can the selling price be more than the MSRP? No discount from sticker?
Florida taxes the monthly payment.
Hi Sorry i was misinformed and told tax was upfront, The deal I'm currently being offered for a 2017 FWD CX5 GT AT is MRSP of $30635, a sale price of $28222 and a payment of $326(including tax) with $2000 down for 36/10K. This includes a $750 loyalty bonus. Does this seem like a reasonable deal? Thanks again and sorry for the confusion.

.00084 MF and 63% residual If $2000 covers all of your upfront charges (1st payment, DMV, dealer fee, acquisition fee), so that $28222 is your adjusted CAP cost, then the payment should be about $305/mo. If the $750 comes off that number, then about $283/mo.
Well... no 2016.5's How about a 2017? Please let me know the MF, residual and any loyalty or other incentives for a 2017 AWD GT 12K/36 for Allentown, PA area (Northeastern PA). Thanks so much!

With your prices, I get $385/mo - pretty close, but I'd ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost to see if they added something to the selling price.
We do recommend that you roll the taxes into the payment, as well. If the car is stolen or totaled, you won't get a refund of those taxes you pre-paid.

Payment $466.00 (before tax) 36 months/15,000 miles a year Due at signing $792.00
What do you think?
What did you add for $1050? Assuming the $33815 includes the acquisition fee, I get $422/mo.+tax which is pretty close (9%-10% tax).
Doesn't look like much of a deal.
I added Cargo Cover (MSRP $250), Bumper Guard (MSRP $125), All weather mats (MSRP $125), Mobile Start (MSRP $550)
It's hard to tell what a good deal is as most of the sites (KBB, Edmunds, True Car) don't have a lot of sales to give a TMV. What would you consider a good deal? I know you guys don't do pricing but when Edmunds says TMV is $34,318 and I'm being quoted $33,815 I'm not sure what I'm missing.

Adding accessories really hurts you on a lease.. They gave you a $1000 discount, but you are paying full retail for $1050 in non-residualized accessories. $33/mo is a lot to pay for those items.

When I leased my Elantra GT in 2013, the sticker showed both the first aid kit and the all weather mats on the factory sticker. The cost of these were then residualized as part of the lease payment.

New to the forum and to leasing. I was hoping someone could give me the RV and MF for both the 2017 and 2016.5 CX-5 Touring FWD and Grand Touring FWD (four cars total) for 24mos/12k and 36mos/12k for Los Angeles, CA. Also, if anyone has received a good lease deal recently on any of these options, I would be grateful to know the numbers! I'm sorry, I know that's a lot of info for one post, thanks so much for any help!

Need to know the MSRP and the adjusted cap cost - MD has this pesky habit of wanting to tax the entire selling price, which makes lease payments expensive.

Is the dealer going to ask me where I got those numbers from or they don't really care?

Don't tell them you know the numbers - if they quote a higher MF than what I've shared, politely tell them you won't sign a deal where the MF is marked up. They know the base rate.
Am the happy Northeastern Pennsylvania lessee of a 2017 GT, AWD, Eternal Blue, 12k/36m, MSRP $31,635. Deal included $485 trade in on my leased 2015 GT AWD, Mazda loyalty and dealer loyalty. Ask the dealer what the breakdown of the $2000 is.

If $2000 covers all of your upfront charges (1st payment, DMV, dealer fee, acquisition fee), so that $28222 is your adjusted CAP cost, then the payment should be about $305/mo.
If the $750 comes off that number, then about $283/mo.
