I was told...Money factor updated to .0007 and no lease cash.
deal offered: Lexus GX 460 Premium Sport with Captains Chairs MSRP = $60,914 Residual = $38,375 (63%) Cap Cost = $55,813 IL Tax = 7.25% Plates = $221 Doc fee = $172
Monthly = $631.
36 mo/10k miles, nothing down or out of pocket, 1st payment due to take car. Monthly seems high to me, can you please confirm??
Using your numbers, I get $550/mo.+tax.
But, Illinois collects tax upfront, so ask them for the actual adjusted CAP cost, with everything included. (acquisition fee, etc). That should clear it up.
Can you give me the 36/10 residual and MF for a 2017 GX460 Premium in Ohio?
.00055 MF and 61% residual
Thanks! Very helpful. Looks like Lexus sweetened the deal slightly with the MF to offset the lower residual. My calculations have the payment almost a push to slightly better than when I use the June numbers.
Hi I am new to this forum! I just got quoted in MA on a gx460: msrp: 59000 price after dealer discounts: 55000 price after residual: 37000 Payment $650 we are putting 1600 down to cover first payment, registration and dealer fees. Is this a good deal?

What lease term and how many miles per year is this quote for?
We recommend you add the dealer fees to the monthly payment and not pay them up front.

This is what they came back with: Adjusted cap cost: 54,684 risidula value: 37507.68 money factor .00095 with 1600 down for first payment and such they brought the payment down to 617.03

I cannot arrive at the quoted payment. Using $61,488 as the MSRP, $54,684 as the cap cost, 61% residual and .00095 MF, I get a final payment of $600 - on the nose - with 6.25% sales tax.
Please help. I am living in Texas. Trying to lease a 2017 GX460 Luxury model. I got a quote from a dealer. MSRP $65909; Sale price: $61609; Residual $40863.58; term 36/12K; monthly payment $860.85. Is that a good deal? This is my first time to lease a car. Do I have to pay tax for leasing in TX???

oh.. 0 down. i forgot to mention this. Thanks!
Yes, you have to pay sales tax for leasing. Unfortunately, in Texas sales tax - even for a lease - is applied against the entire selling price. This makes your lease payment pretty expensive compared to other states.
.00055 MF and 60% residual.
Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost, and how they got there from the selling price, then we can run the numbers.

I always thought the other way around on the sales tax... LOL. What will be the fair payment in my case?? any idea? i am asking dealer to provide me the adjusted cap cost as well.

Without the adjusted cap cost, we'd only be guessing.

Dealer reply and said the Cap cost is $66850.00. How do we looking at it now? Not good?

With those prices, I get $817/mo.
Dealer may be marking up the MF for extra profit.
Tell them, politely, that you won't sign a deal with the MF marked up. They know what the base rate is.
I am struggling to line up numbers with a dealer quote I have. I am in Texas, here is what I have been offered: MSRP: $57,059.00 Sale Price: $53,035.00 Residual: $35,947.17 (63%) MF: 0.00070 Sales Tax: 6.26% = $3,314.69 Lic Fee: $353 Terms: 36 Months
Two options: $0 down, TTL rolled in: $658.26/month. First month + Lic fee due at signing (says $861.26) TTL Down: $3,667.69 down, $586.34 monthly
I keep getting numbers more like: $0 down: $641 monthly TTL down: $536 monthly

Thoughts on where the disconnect might be?
Thanks, Aaron
I don't see a dealer doc fee or the acquisition fee mentioned anywhere...
I received word the acquisition fee is $795; there are two lines for fees... both say fees and insurance. One is for $150, the other is for $203. He now has it at $576.62 monthly with $3,667 down. Says total cap cost of $54,406 after the down payment reduction.

IM looking at a GS460 lease in PA. BB says 48k to 50,500 should be the fair sales price. I need 15k miles. Whats the money factor and Residual I should be using? Looks like there is 3,000 cash back on the lexus website. Can I use that as taxed incentives? Also, I am going to put 0 down, so what is reasonable for fees? If I use multiple security deposits, can I get the MF lower? Sorry for all the questions.

GX460?
.00070 MF and 60%/58% residual for Base/Luxury. $1500 lease cash.
The $3000 is not compatible with the lease program.
$795 acquisition fee plus your local DMV fees
You can lower the MF by using MSDs, but I don't have Lexus program, though I think it's 9 X .00008 per deposit, which would take you down to the minimum money factor.
I just closed this deal today. If anyone is interested in Southern California please let me know. I left another dealer hanging on this same deal and I feel bad.
