Hi. What is fair discount off MSRP for me to offer if I purchase RRS Dynamic V8 with cash vs lease? Would be custom build order thru dealer with $93,930 as built on LR website including delivery fees. Hate paying full price. Are there averages of what people are paying? Also, what is dealer invoice for the base V8 Dynamic? MSRP is $85,550. Thanks!

Debating whether to finance (60 mos) or lease (36 months) 12K/yr. $0 down w/835 FICO.

Expect to negotiate price to about $92K plus 9.5% CA (incl. city) sales tax.

Is the dealer allowing you to lock in the lease figures this month, or will you have to use the numbers that are active in April when you take delivery?

Using a $95K MSRP and $92K cap cost, I get a payment of $1344/mo with tax included

Thank you very much Michael. $1,350/mo using about a 4% interest rate sounds fine.

The dealer quoted me $1,500/mo tax incl - without negotiation - based on current rates (for "36 mo.").

Dealer said will use April 2018's actual numbers when I take delivery for exact payment. If the rates are about the same, Maybe I'll go for "39 mo." as you suggest, it seems to reduce over $50/mo. The bodystyle is set to change though in 24 mos (Jan 2020), hence, why I am looking at a lease rather than a buy. With any luck the MF will be lower in April.

Do you know if Land Rover Finance (Chase Bank) uses ALG's official residual value % (for RRS V8 Dynamic), or a higher % to subsidize the payments lower? Are there specific banks (or credit unions) generally known to subsidize lease residuals (or MF) to make them more attractive? (I guess I should ask this question to the dealer's finance manager)

Don't know how the residuals are figured, but my guess is that they're inflated a bit to help keep the payment reasonable (whatever that is for a RR).

Not sure that LR dealers would be inclined to use 3rd party banks for leases; you'll have to ask them.

Have 12 payments left on a 42 month lease for a 2015 RR sport 5.0L V8 dynamic. Paying about $1,022/month. Will likely exceed the alotted mileage with about 6 months left on the lease. Realize never good to look to terminate a lease early but need to figure out if cheaper to continue with that lease (will be 30 cents/mile for addit. miles once over the limit), or trade-in before exceeding the mileage limit and lease a 2018 RR Sport HSE . Any suggestions on how best to analyze? Apologies, in advance to all, if this is the wrong forum for the question.

It's rarely a good financial decision to end a lease early, regardless of payment size or vehicle.

At .30/mile, you'd have to go over your mileage by 40,000 to equal the $12K of remaining payments.

We don't show a V-6 HSE Dynamic... only Dynamic we have listed is on the V-8.

I have an 2016 Range Rover Sport HSE; the lease expires in december with (36k miles max). I am currently at 41k; would it be possible to trade-in my lease without penalties for 2018 RRS HSE because I exceeded the miles by so much already.

Highly doubtful you can get out from under your current lease without big money from you.

You're contractually obligated to the terms of your current lease.

No info on the single-pay discount
Check with a dealer for residual reduction for the extra 3K mi/yr on an 18K/yr lease.
