After looking through the September posts, it looks like the RV for Virginia changed from 34 to 33% unless it’s a mistake. Could you please verify that the current RV for Virginia and 12K per year for the SV is 33%?

We only have the October numbers; no predictions as to what will happen after that.

Best to shop when you need a car, otherwise you'll have to deal with the remaining lease payments on your current vehicle.

2. Who pays for "tax on capitalized cost reduction"? dealer or myself?
3. Does anyone know whether LEAF loyalty rebate(2000$) can be used if the current LEAF leased car was totaled? I have dealers giving conflicting points on this. One of them said the rebate wouldnt apply if the car is not in possession. Others say it's good enough if I provide a current year registration. I called up Nissan and they say they have no role in it, it's totally upto the dealer. It's confusing!

1) Not until tomorrow, at earliest
2) You pay the tax
3) That's one for the lawyers. If one dealer says they'll take the current year registration, I'd sure give them a shot at it, for $2000.

Thank you for taking your time to help people, Michaell and kyfdx. I live near "onewithanh" in Northern California. Can you please share the MF, residuals, incentives and anything else I should be asking about? Do the MF, residuals, etc vary too much from zip code to zip code within this region? Or is mostly the same within the region? I can easily drive from my close-by dealer at 94063 to 94544 or 94568 (or elsewhere) if it makes a difference.

I'm looking at a 2018 Leaf S or SV, 36/12k.

Also, what is the Acquisition Fee? Is it the same from dealer to dealer or set by Nissan?

Does Nissan offer a 10k mileage lease? I saw in one of your earlier posts that they don't, but I've seen it around here. I'm trying to figure out the cost of the 12k vs 10k mileage and what I can negotiate or not there - or as I'm typing this, I'm thinking the cost is calculated from the 1% (?) difference in residuals between 10k vs 12k... Is that right?
