Thank you for the information Michael. Could you give some guidance on the following estimate that I got from the Lexus Dealership today on an RX 350 (Atlanta, Georgia - 30009) :

MSRP : 60,438
Discount : 10,000
Adj. Price : 50,438

** Tint : 399
** Resist All : 599
Total Purchase : 51,436

GATAVT : 1,621.28
Acquisition Fees : 795
License Fees : 25
MVWRA : 3
** Dealer Svc. Charge : 599
** Title Fees : 18
** Title Service Fee : 98

I see at least about $1,700 worth of extra stuff padded into this estimate (marked by **) effectively reducing the discount from $10k to about $8.3 k .... and that is aside from the ResVal and MF adjustments that need to be done.

Don't try to negotiate out the ticky tacky stuff individually - just ask for another $1500-2000 off the MSRP to compensate.

Dealer cannot alter the residual value; that is set by the bank.

What MF did they quote you?

You can't compare the programs from 3 years ago to the current programs.

Leasing has gotten more expensive, across the board.

Visited a dealer in Central New Jersey today (07751) and he quoted me following numbers. Let me know if this is a good deal...

MF - .00080
Residual - 57% for a 36/12 lease
MSRP - $53518 (2019 RX350 Base AWD, Premium package, nav, fully loaded)

After much negotiation, I brought him down from $625 to $549 per month but he is asking me to do a security deposit of 9 X 549 = $4941.

I have given a token of $500 to hold the car and have to close the deal by EOD Wednesday, Jan 2nd.

MSDs are always rounded up, so it would have to be $4950 for the deposit.
That should drop the money factor to .00008

If they only numbers you have are the MSRP and monthly payment, it doesn't really give us anything to evaluate. Looks like you are negotiating the monthly payment?

What is the amount Due at Signing?
If Lexus has a program to waive your current payments, that likely doesn't cost the dealer anything.

Went in looking for the remaining 2018 Fsports but walked out with a 2019 Fsport. Here is my info:

45 months, 12K miles
9 MSDs (Security Deposits)
$750 up front + first months payment
Monthly 553.45
I had 7 months left on my lease and the buyout was pretty much even.

How did you think I did? I was honestly looking for a target monthly payment of 550 and was going to fork out the MSD money as I've been doing it for my last two lexus leases.
