Thanks for all your help on this. So I think I'm ready to pull the trigger. I've tried to run the numbers, but would like a triple check to make sure they add up.

This is for a 2019 S4 premium +. The lease is a 36/12 and zip is 60510.

MSRP = $63660

discount = $6327.67

rebate = $6500

52% RV, .00052 MF

They are giving me $6000 for a trade in. I know it equates to a lot down, but I can only get $4000 for it at a few other dealers and I really don't want the car anymore, so that's the money down.

1st payment due at signing, $504 a month.

Does this seem correct?

What is the adjusted cap cost for that quote? Not all of the trade equity is being used as cap reduction - there are up front fees, plus the first payment to consider. And, the dealer could be slipping in some junk stuff in there, which makes the payment higher than it should be.

If you can obtain and post a copy of the lease worksheet, we can decipher the numbers and tell you if you've got a good deal ----- or not.

Generally, the gross cap is the selling price less incentives, and the net cap is the gross cap with any fees and taxes you aren't paying up front.

Sooooo, I'm not sure I understand the numbers you posted. The adjusted cap is the MSRP less incentives less discount, and the gross cap should be in the neighborhood of $51-52K.

Can you confirm these numbers with the dealer?
