Quick update: lease offers in the Chicagoland area for the P+ year 1 for 36/12 zero down have been coming in at $1,200 per month with decent haggling. Could likely do a little better if you can find a demo/loaner to lease. Still too high for my liking - X5 pricing out under well under $900.
I'm in Chicagoland too. There is a broad price range for Premium Plus. What MSRP is $1200 based on? I just leased the highest MSRP Premium Plus in the area.
Sales taxes are also highly variable within the metropolitan area. People registering within Chicago's city limits are paying upwards of 2% more in sales taxes.
A Q8 loaner! What? I don't think they have demonstrators either. There are so many of them; they just have you drive whichever is most convenient for them. I drove at least six of them, Prestige and Premium Plus. I did not test drive the one I ended up leasing.
It was built in March.

Prem + year 1 w/t winter package.
That's ridiculous. I'd never go for that. I saw many Q8s lacking in features that are standard/common in less expensive vehicles. The Y1 package isn't something that I was obsessed with. I could have done without it. My salesmen actually pushed it one me. The simpler 22"s were good enough for me. Anyway, good luck!

I've had mine for two weeks now, and two things should make you think long and hard about getting one of these:
#1. For all the hype about the mild hybrid system, the throttle lag following its start/stop restart is an abomination and downright dangerous.
#2. Again, for all the hype about the mild hybrid system (MHEV), the fuel economy on this is about as bad as one of my lazy 4.7 or 5.0L Mercedes V8s. Think 12-14mpg in a suburban environment.
You turn the start/stop off, and you are just wasting the 48V battery.
It's still an awesome car. In two weeks, I've only seen one on the road besides mine.

Looking back at my deal again, I can't figure out how they were able to roll everything in there. I don't see any room for any dealer fees or anything. Sales taxes and government fees were $4,906.17, negative equity was $6,415.72, AudiCare was $999, the sales price was $77,500, but my gross cap cost was $90,463.89...That leaves only $643. The doc fee of $179.81 was paid at signing. What am I missing? Do you see?

The doc fee listed is the only fee that dealers are allowed to charge in Illinois.
There should be another page to your contract that itemizes the difference between Agreed Upon Value and Gross CAP Cost.

The bottom of the sheet says page 1 of 5.
I know. I only posted page 1. The top of page 2 is cut off... So, what I see is #10 and then it skips to #13.

My late mother received a 'private offer card' in the mail today that can be redeemed for a credit from Audi of America toward the lease or purchase of select 2019 models. The card says that the credit is not transferrable. You have the option of $6k toward an A8, $5k toward an A6, $4k toward an A7, $3k toward a Q7, or $2k toward a Q8. The offer expires on June 30th, 2019.

Hi there, QQ - what is July MF & Res for Q8 Premium Plus 36 months /10k or 12k miles. 94610.
Also... can you point me in the direction of what MF stands for and how it's calculated? I see everyone asking about it but it's my first time interested in leasing and i'm not informed..
Also any questions I should be asking to help drive the price down / maintain miles etc would be helpful.
