We'd recommend putting the tax, doc fee and acq fee into the monthly payment, however. You won't get a refund from the state if the car is stolen or totaled before the end of the lease.

I don't really understand the $10K+ Due at Delivery, with the balance owed being $1000.
None of those numbers add up to $10K+.

Is it NY? Maybe they've messed up the sales tax number?

It's hard to tell, because I don't know the sales tax amount. With the missing numbers, I'd be guessing.
That is the proper MF reduction for 9 MSDs.

5-6k upside down on a leased trade and was still able to get a ‘19 S4 Prestige for $645 pre tax a month even rolling in the negative equity and only doing fees down. Since my deal was unique with the trade - they gave me over dealer CPO retail value, I’ll pull my trade out so folks have a better comparison (my numbers are for TX).

Always hard to really figure what they put for cost on the trade in the deal, so I’ll put the cost at 95% of what they are listing it for on their preowned site which is still more than it will go for). I had pushed the deal for a week and they balked at first, 30 min after closing hour on the last day of July they agreed.

MSRP: $64,400
Rebates: $4250 (with loyalty)
Discount: $9,747 (15%)
$51,314 Cap Cost with all DMV/Dealer and acquisition

Again thanks to the forum, countless thousands you have saved me over the years. Although the flip side is your knowledge just enables my addiction of new cars - so I’m still netting negative.

1. No one can quote something that is not built. Lease numbers change monthly. You will pay what the rate is when the car comes in.
2. It is unrealistic to expect Audi lease at ~ 1% MSRP. Expect to pay around 800-900 for what you configured.

$4750 lease bonus

With that Net CAP, I calculate $587/mo.

The Net CAP seems reasonable, as $3500 wouldn't be enough to pay sales tax, acquisition fee, dealer fee, DMV and first payment. I'd estimate selling price at $56K, before incentives, so that is a healthy discount.

But, either the Net CAP is higher than they've told you, or the money factor is marked up. It would have to be .00107 MF to get that payment, given the parameters.

I factored in tax to get to the $587/mo. payment.

Fair deal or you think I overpaid? I am new to the market and bought on a whim

I feel decent considering taxes n fees rolled in but not sure about the fees. I also see some bs rental fee for 780 that was rolled into the total lease amount.

Not sure what is normal/a good deal is. May be I should have done more homework.

The Rent Charge is the total finance charge for the lease (that comes from the money factor). It isn't BS

Hope this isnt a dumb question, but do you think audi will offer higher lease cash to combat the remaining S4's in the upcoming months (Sept, Oct, Nov)?

Right now in my zip (NJ 07042) lease cash is $4750, which im told is high.

In your experience do you see them offer a lot of lease cash prior to the new model year hitting?

I also need help figuring out my deal. i feel like my MF has been inflated compared to what i've been seeing on the site. i'm in zip 68116. NO MSD's though.

ZERO due at signing, right?

You need the next sheet that shows an itemization of the $3534 in upfront charges.
Also, the $350 of fees that they've added to the CAP cost in column 2 (DMV fees?)

$895 acq.fee
$144 doc fee (what state?)
Sales tax? (what state?)

It might add up, but there might be some garbage in there.

Other than checking on the those numbers, all else looks good.

Yes, you have a big markup to the money factor
This adds $61/mo. to the payment.
(when doing calculations, ignore the total tax and disposition fee lines, they don't figure in the calculations)

Adds to CAP cost: $1194 - That is the $895 acquisition fee and some other $299 fee (dealer or accessory).

$1704 CAP reduction
$664 first payment
+tax on CAP reduction
= $2500 upfront money

With the base MF, you could have a payment of $656/mo, with just first payment Due at Signing, instead of $2500 upfront.
