Yes, the T8s don't hold their value well, because they have a high MSRP, relative to the other models.
The $5419 credit is Volvo's way of passing the tax rebate on to you.

If I add the $1080 to the CAP, I'm pretty close to their calculation.
It notes a rebate for the upfront money? That seems weird. (but, good)

One note: 63% is the residual for 36/15 for the AWD model.
FWD should be 1% lower

With no incentives on this model, the $4500 discount seems decent.
