    Here are 2 deals I was offered in zip 08361. First lease.

    SH AWD base $47925 Msrp, 36/12k lease, no money down except 1st month, 53% residual - $446 per month

    SH AWD technology $52925 msrp, 36/12k lease, no money down except first month, 51% residual, $544 per month

    Should we sign? Is one deal better than the other?

    My question back to you is - which do you like more, the base or the Tech?

    Second question - what is the adjusted cap costs on those quotes, with taxes and fees added in?

    On the surface, they look good, but until we have all the numbers, it's just speculation.

    Base is $40,527 after taxes and fees.
    Tech is $44,362 after taxes and fees.

    Hmmm, I can't make the numbers work - I'm using .00042 MF and 51% RV for the tech, and get $512/mo with the prices provided.

    Ask the dealer for a copy of the lease worksheet that we can review.

    I think the sales tax is what is missing. It looks like it is not included in the taxes and fees I listed. We are from NJ and looking at lease from a Delaware dealer.

    NJ taxes the sum of the payments, whereas I think DE taxes the entire selling price. You should be paying sales tax based on the registration location (NJ, in this case).
