question 1 - what is the MF and Residual for 15k/36 months for July in NJ?
question 2 - as far as selling price is concerned, what should be the target for good deal i.e. how many % points below MSRP should be a good deal?

I believe they rewire the first months payment at lease signing. Is there a lease calculator online that I can use to verify if they give me different numbers from the dealer. Thank you.

The numbers are the same for both AWD or FWD.

Add 2% to the residual for 12k miles.

Use the knowledge of the lease cash to negotiate your best selling price.

I get $315/mo.+tax, so that looks pretty good.

Be aware when you sign the papers. NJ collects the tax upfront, so that amount will be added to your CAP cost, rather than applied to each payment. In other words, your adjusted CAP cost won't be the number they gave you. The end result is about the same, though.

What is the MSRP? What is the adjusted cap cost?

There are no incentives on the CR-V.

And, we'd need to know the trim level to give you the correct residual amount.

Lastly, what state is this? There are two different MF for the CR-V.

I was looking at some of the $199 lease deals currently running for the CR-V from Honda Financial Services, and I understand they are not, as they are written, a bad deal at all with reasonably high residuals, low MF, pretty decent cap cost (if not puffed up by the dealer add-ons, and reasonable back-end terms.

The only thing I am confused about is the "due at signing" dollars that each (depending on whether it is an LE, SE, or LX) is something between $2699 and $3199. My question is:

What exactly is being paid out of this "due at signing" dollars? Is it straight cap cost reduction or is some of it being split off elsewhere? Going to taxes? Confused.

To keep the monthly price the same on more expensive vehicles, you need more money upfront.

Some of that upfront money will be CAP cost reduction. You can't tell how much from the fine print, because the deal includes an undisclosed dealer discount from MSRP.

@mp504558 .. that offer turned out to be a false lure to get us into the dealership. all the numbers in that offer are valid except for the sales price which they say cannot go below 28300. This one is at Hudson Honda in North Bergen. I am going to visit Madison Honda this Saturday to see if they can do any better considering the month end. will keep you posted
