First of all, thanks for all your help on here, you guys are awesome!
My lease on my Accord is coming up in a couple months and I'm looking for new options. Basically, my question is will I be able to get into the 5.0 for under $500 a month with $0 down?
No idea. We would need to know the sticker price as well as the negotiated selling price in order to model a payment.
I was wondering is someone could evaluate this deal for me on a 2015 Genesis with Signature package for 36 months and 12k miles per year:
MSRP: $44,191 (real MSRP is $43,200 but due to installed accessories and protection package it is higher) Gross CAP: $40434.41 CAP Reduction: $6161 (no money down from me - all from the dealer) First months payment: $299 (coming from me) Residual: $23,760 Sales tax is capped at $300 in SC. 36mo/12k Payment $299
So basically all I put up front is first months payment of $299.

I think it is more than possible especially if you can find a 2015 model to lease. I was offered $399 a month with only 1st months payment down on 201 5.0 Genesis without any negotiation. I assume there is plenty more room to negotiate but keep in mind that taxes in my state are low (less than $10 a month). I decided to try to work a deal on 3.8 instead as I thought V6 had plenty of power.

The deal mmedic got was intriguing, and there's some 2015s left in stock in the area. Do you know what the residual and MF are on the Genesis RWD and AWD in NJ 36/12 and 48/12? Any information on incentives? Thanks!

I test drove a Genesis last weekend and then went to an Audi dealership and there the lady told me that the Genesis is notorious for having residual where you're already under once you buy the car (which is exactly the opposite of what the salesman at Hyundai told me, he said it was rated highest).
So I'd like to ask your opinion, is the deal below any good? Any room for negotiations?

36 months 10k miles a year Down Payment $1150.00 Payment $370.01 Tax $29.60 Total $399.61
Thank you! Mauricio
Is this the RWD or AWD version? What does the $1150 at signing cover? What is the net cap cost, after adjusting for the rebates and fees?
Not enough information to fully evaluate the deal, as it stands.
Of course, dealerships are going to talk down other makes. You should get the car that makes you happy and the one where you are comfortable with the deal.
I think you get more value for the money with Hyundai, but the engineering may be less, um, 'German' than the Audi. Horses for courses, or something like that.
I am looking to lease a 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 AWD with ultimate package. I have been talking to my dealer and have not been able to get all the information like others have on this discussion thread so far but here is what I have got MSRP 52200 originally that has been reduced to 49200 Zero down payment No first month payment 529 a month for 35 months including tax Residual value at end of lease 29900 12K/36 months I live in NY
The dealer and few of my friends said that this was an excellent deal but after reading through this forum I am not that sure.
@bassatom, run from that dealer!!! Without knowing all the particulars, that sounds very fishy. There is a bunch of lease cash and other incentives floating around. The MSRP should be nowhere near that figure. The residual looks crazy high. What's the money factor? How much are the drive-offs? (There is no such thing as a down payment on a lease.)
They are playing you. Please read up on the ins and outs of leasing. From a bass player and new 2016 Tech lessee.

There are no 2015 Genesis sedan lease numbers for March, so there isn't any way to confirm or refute any of the numbers you might get from the dealer.
At this point, it may make more sense to get a 2016.

I got a call from a dealer I visited last month and they told me Hyundai just announced a program on the 2015 Genesis where they're giving $6,500 in rebates. MF & RV are .00179 and 50% on the RWD for 36/12k. I'm in NJ. Can you verify this? Are the numbers different for AWD? Thanks!

Sorry, but we don't have any lease info on the 2015 Genesis sedan.
Getting what I think is a great deal on a new '15 3.8 Ultimate. I know you don't have 2015 Genesis lease numbers, but I asked for and received the components from the dealer, straight off the draft of the lease contract. $50,205 sticker; $28,114.80 residual (56%), 9% tax (CA) money factor of .00012!. When I run that through the Edmunds and other lease calculators I get a payment (nothing down but $595 acq fee and $80 docs) of $341 (comprised of $305.60 base/$8 interest and $28 tax). That's great! But the dealer says the payment is $413.96! What am I missing? Haven't seen the final contract but I can't believe he could slip in enough nonsense charges (maintenance pkg, appearance pkg. etc.) to increase the payment $74. I would appreciate any insight you have...or is the dealer simply wrong? thanks!

You are missing the selling price or net cap cost.
I've asked dealer 3 times to check and residual is accurate. this is a new vehicle, 10 miles, never titled leftover. The only thing that is close is if I change the money factor to .0012 instead of .00012. Then I get $421 which is is higher, but at least closer. The mf of .00012 is miniscule so I wonder if it's right.

Again, can't confirm the numbers, so it could be .00120 MF
Well, I finally got the contract and figured out what they did. Even though the sticker is $50,205, the Gross Cap Cost in the Agreement is $45,299. Then dealer further contributes Cap Cost reduction of $3,822 leaving an adjusted cap cost of $41,476. When you plug that figure into the formula; keeping the residual of $28,114.80 and mf of .00012 you get the $413 payment that the dealer offered. Amount due at delivery is $5,000 consisting of "rebates and non-cash credits" (0 down from me), so I guess that the dealer contributed some there in addition to various factory and Costco incentives. So, it seems like a good deal, but I'm going to try to get it even better if I can. I like the sound of a $390 payment!

Even though I don't have the numbers to confirm, the 56% residual seems high for a 2015 model.
I would ask the dealer to reconfirmed all the numbers to see if you can spot the discrepancy.
