Hi all, just wanted to share the deal i closed this afternoon after a few weeks of negotiation, in case anyone can use this information:
2015 Genesis 5.0 Ultimate Package 36/12K 1000 total out of pocket including 1st month, tag, fees etc. $475 a month, tax included. White with black interior. Miami, FL.
Thanks to everyone, mods and the great information on this forum.
Mind sharing the specifics of that deal? Selling price, incentives applied, lease factors used?
Any numbers for 3.8 AWD With Ultimate PKG What are the numbers for 36 Months 15k Is there any advantage to doing 36 Months? If the payment drops a bit I dont mind driving this car for 5 years.
Additionally is there any info on Hyundai lease transfer options? It looks like it cant be done at all. Is that correct?
Sticker is 52,800 Im wondering what I can knock of that and then if I can deduct another 1500 lease cash and maybe tire and rim ins?

.00039 and 57% for 36/15. $1500 lease cash.
36 months is usually the sweet spot for leasing.
Don't have any information on lease transfers.
Use the pricing tools at the top of the page (make / model / year) to help set price targets.

Thought I would contribute. Went in with pre-negotiated price all done by email after waiting for car for 2 weeks. Noticed that I calculated wrong by putting in 1000 instead of 1500 bonus cash. First manager tried to deny lease bonus cash existed and only admitted to it when I mentioned edmunds. Guy was something else. Told him to rework numbers but he comes back with different numbers than expected. Instead of 38950 he uses 39200 for wheel locks and floor mats. Didn't feel like wasting my time over couple hundred since color combo was hard to get and didn't feel like waiting again at another dealer so agreed to msrp of 39,200. Then manager keeps asking if I was going to pay the cap additions separately to the monthly. I say no and that the deal was for 300/mos with everything including taxes. Email was clear. Then I asked for 1 thing, an emblem for the back. He quotes $350 including installation and says that his cost on the emblem is $199. I ask for the emblem for free seeing that I relented on the MSRP of the car. He starts rambling on about how expensive the emblem was and this and that. I called another dealer and they had one for $50. So this is what I learned from the experience: 1. Negotiate only by email and make sure if leasing that they understand that the number you give them is the only thing your paying and nothing more. 2. Dealers have a limited amount of vouchers that they can use every month. They can use multiple vouchers on you. They had to use 1 for $500 for me in addition to bonus cash and conquest that I got. 3. If you want anything else like rear emblem or wear and tear package negotiate prior to stepping into dealer. You loss a lot of time and negotiating power once you step into the dealership.
My deal. Black/black 3.8 rwd. 15k/36 mos. 311.42/mos. 3000 rebate. 12k/36 would have been 15 less per mos. no emblem and bad attitude = no referral to dealership.

What is the selling price? We don't recommend making a down payment on a lease; if the car is stolen or totaled you lose that money.

Thank you for the prompt response..Out-the-Door price I've received on this vehicle is USD 50K even. When I did some reverse calculations, I arrived at USD 46935 as the Selling Price..Hope this info helps...
Is this a good price for leasing? For financing, you're probably aware of the 1.9%/60 months Hyundai Finance special..Thoughts? Comments?

Looks good; under $500/mo for a car that stickers at almost $53k isn't bad.

Thank you..Can I know the MF on this? I wasn't really sure from my Math..Additionally, regarding the 2k down..I'm sure if I were to not put as much, I'd probably be getting closer to mid 500 - early 600's or so for the lease..
Can I also know if buying it at the end would be a feasible option? About 30k + taxes and my total payments inclusive of the down, should put the total of the car to be right around (if not slightly more) than my OTD of 50k...

No way to tell now, what might be a good deal in three years.

Thanks for letting me know on the MF.. Alright, since it sounds like a lease worth less than 1% of sticker is good, I'm probably going to proceed further..Hope it all works out!
On emblem, I had dealer do it for free. He told me other dealers were charging $395, and I told him it is on Amazon for $10 bucks and takes about 5 minutes to put on. I told him it was a good way to create a long-term customer by just doing it. He agreed and had it on the car when I arrived to pick it up. He did leave out wheel locks, first aid kit and cargo tray but I made him take them from the floor model (except wheel locks which are on order) since it was included in our original deal and I wanted them. Seems like if you have a good deal, they try to pick up dollars on the little items. But my experience was pretty painless overall.
Busydad1, believe it or not the manager would not budge and at one point said the best he would do is take back the trunk tray and still charge $100. Like I said he will not be getting referrals. Also I bought one off eBay for 12 bucks with the rear mounts already removed and changed the logos myself. Pretty painless. Love the way it looks and I am really enjoying it and can't believe all you get for the price. For reference, my previous car was a Bmw x6 which was close to $70k and I don't miss anything except the superb handling. Made a quick u turn on the way home from the dealer and genesis actually fish tailed. Guess it's not a sports car lol.
Hi, I need South Florida numbers for 3.8 sedan with signature package. 3 yr lease 12k and 15k miles please. Also any info on lease cash and other incentives. Thanks

I'll assume RWD ...
36/12 numbers are .00022 and 58%. $1500 lease cash. Subtract 2% for 15K.
Looking for the MF and RV and any rebates on a 3.8 with signature package. I'm in Tennessee. Msrp around 43k. I have a Lexus ct200 with 9 lease payments left at $299 per month and looking at getting into a new genesis.
I'm also looking into getting a 3.8 with the signature package in L.A. What are the new MF and residual values for a 36 month lease and 12k/year?
.00022 MF and 58% residual. $1500 lease cash
Is this applicable to the 3.8 AWD Ultimate as well?
Nope - AWD Genesis has different numbers. 59% and .00039, same $1500 lease cash.
Great, thanks. That's the same as last month, right? Going to look at one next week and had worked a deal last month and want to see if that is still relevant.
New to leasing so would like a little guidance. Looking at a Genesis 5.0 with Ultimate package here in VA. The dealership reached out with a quote: "Lease, MSRP=56,080, Price after rebate's and Discounts is $49,178, and with taxes and fee's, $52,615.55 for a payment of $676 for 36 Months with 0 cash, $646 with $1000 Cash, or 617 with $2000 cash Down"
This seems awfully high but I'm not sure where to go from here on negotiations. I've read that 0 cash down is recommended, but past that, I need a little help. Any advice you could give would be much appreciated.

.00003 MF and 54% residual for 36mo, 12K/yr. (your quote doesn't mention mileage allowance). $1500 lease cash.
At those numbers, I get $622/mo., with just 1st payment and title/license fees due at signing.. That's about $24/mo. under your quote.

Is there any advantage to doing 36 Months? If the payment drops a bit I dont mind driving this car for 5 years.
Additionally is there any info on Hyundai lease transfer options? It looks like it cant be done at all. Is that correct?
Sticker is 52,800
Im wondering what I can knock of that and then if I can deduct another 1500 lease cash and maybe tire and rim ins?
Thanks
