I'd agree with what you've said. Infiniti has low MF and the residuals vary based on time of year and how much volume they want to have.

Audi has realistic lease numbers; this makes Audi more expensive to lease than BMW or MB.

36 month is the shortest program. Money factors and residuals vary by 3.8, 3.8 AWD or 5.0. Which model are you interested in?

Hi looking at a 36/12 lease for a 3.8 RWD with signature and tech. Dealer quoted net cap cost of 40,133 (off 46705 MSRP). They claim a 54% residual but list the buyout at lease end of $26,154. The math doesn't seem to work as the buyout number looks more like a 56% RV. I've asked them to clarify but wanted to get an independent run on the numbers. Their MF matched your .00034. Total payment quoted was 459+tax (FL), nothing down, with only first month payment and licensing fees due at signing. Just want to ensure I'm getting a fair deal.

Dealer cannot modify the residual.

I would like the lease numbers (MF, Residual, etc.) for a 48 month / 15,000 miles per year for a 2015 3.8 RWD model with only the standard package. Any ideas on what a good net cap cost would be for such a model? Thank you.

I just got back from the dealership here in No. VA. I'm getting a MF of .00107 or .00106 being used in their calculations. On the AWD Ultimate Package, that's about $1200 over the life of the lease. Can you please confirm the current MF for 2015 Genesis, 3.8L AWD with Ultimate?

Thanks. I ended up leasing a Lexus GS350 F Sport. Lease price was actually cheaper than the Hyundai. While the Hyundai is a very nice car, the quality of the GS is a step above.

Looking for residual and money factor for 2015 RWD 5.0 Genesis. Mileage 12k/yr or 15k/yr still deciding on that. MSRP quoted was $52450 have not negotiated the base cap cost. Also, are the residual and money factor quotes nationwide?

Also, to ad to my question above this is what I am getting from the Dealer regarding the 2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0:
Residual on the 15K is 53% and the 12k is 55%. Lease payments are figured on a money factor of .00062 (roughly equivalent to 1.5% APR).

Any advice?

For a 3 year, 36,000 mile lease, the numbers are .00067 and 58%. With your MSRP and selling price, I get a $0 down pre-tax payment of $516.78. Your quote of $392 looks pretty strong, even considering the $3000 down.

My dealer is quoting me a 61% residual, with a MF of .00076. They are saying that's the base rate and not marked up at all. While I'll certainly take the 3% bump in residual over what I was expecting, can you confirm that they are using the right MF? Here's the deal I'm being quoted for a 2015 Genesis 3.6 AWD w/ signature package, 3 years, 12k/miles, no money down besides 1st month payment:

MSRP: $45,650
Residual: 61%
Sales price: $41,600
Rebates: $1,500
Fees: $2,129 ($595 dealer fee, $599 doc fee, $185 DMV, and $750 of rolled over lease payments from my current lease)
MF: .00076

Using these figures, I'm coming up with $481. They're getting $498, I have no idea how. Clearly we're off somewhere. But leaving aside the $750 of my current lease payments being rolled in, this deal looks pretty decent, right? If we take out the $750, I'm getting a monthly payment of $458. Seems pretty reasonable for a $45,000 car.

I confirm the MF of .00076 and residual of 61% for the AWD Genesis.
