Hi All, I am in the process to leasing a new 2015 BMW 428XI Coupe and I want to share the numbers with you to get your opinion
MSRP: 53000 Selling price: 49000 (I think he's working on lowering it) 15k miles per year, MSD 3850 (Refundable at lease end) 1754 Tax, 925 Aqu fee (which I think is too high), 260 DMV, 350 doc fee (again too high) 113 tax on fees, and 1st month payment 550 which I think they should pay it. Total out of pocket 7808 (including 3850 MSD). Monthly payment is 549
My goal to combine all those fees and taxes,1st month and all the little things here and there to 2000 plus the MSD for total out of pocket 5850 (3850 refundable later) with 550 a month.
What do you think about the deal as is and am I pushing too hard? I think there is room, It's the last 2015 they have.

Can't modify the acquisition fee (set by the bank); taxes are set by the government, so no relief there. The doc fee can be mitigated by negotiating a lower selling price. Not sure you can avoid the first payment as well.
Using .00085 as the MF (after MSD) and the 36/15 residual of 58%. I get a payment of $575/mo. My guess is the selling price is already lower than the $49,000 stated.
The only place to negotiate on a lease is the selling price and MF .. you're using MSD, so no room to improve there. So, get the best price you can.
Hi - For the 2016 428I Gran Coupe, I know there is $1000 buildout credit, but I also have a fleet discount through my employer which provides 0.0002 MF reduction and $1500 lease cash. My question is, could I apply both incentives (buildout plus fleet discount in the deal? Thanks!

On the 2016, it's called an "option credit", but yes.. It's available to everyone, and your fleet deal shouldn't make any difference.
Meant to also inquire about the same info for the 2015 435i convertible. Money factor and residual for 36 mos, 10K/12K miles and any applicable bonus cash? Thanks again.

Looking at one of the local dealership website they have marked down some of the 2015 428i off the msrp. How much more could you save on the sale price?

OK, thanks. I'm looking at a 428i xdrive gc MSRP $52,845 (42,300 base + 10545 options). This web site was extremely accurate on options and on invoice cost (super thanks for that!). However, edmunds.com estimates the market value at close to 10% below MSRP (almost $1700 below invoice) before the $1k buildout cash. I'd like to believe that is just as accurate, but I don't know. Have market values dropped that much on these recently? Just trying to confirm, since I don't want to overspend. I believe I can get a lease at the current buy rate, so I'm trying to shoot for the best cap cost I can negotiate.

I don't track selling prices, so can't help you.
Take that number to the dealer and be firm and see where it gets you.
Hi! Can you please provide the MF and Residual for a 2015 BMW 428i Xdrive - 10K miles? Best term please. Thanks! They are telling me 59% residual and MF of .00171

I did, and was polite but firm. Couldn't get the dealer to budge from $500 over invoice before incentives, so I'll keep looking instead.
Can you advise the MF and Residual for the 435XI Convertible for 2015 and 2016 for both November and December? And the incentives offered on the 15' and 16" versions?
Can you advise the MF and Residual for the 435XI Convertible for 2015 and 2016 for both November and December? And the incentives offered on the 15' and 16" versions?
2015: .00131 MF and 56% residual. $1500 buildout cash + $1000 Novemberfest adder, for 36/15
2016: .00131 MF and 53% residual. $1000 option credit + $500 Novemberfest adder, for 39/15
Sorry - want 36/12 - and are Decembers numbers the same as November? Can you advise the MF and Residual for the 435XI Convertible for 2015 and 2016 for both November and December? And the incentives offered on the 15' and 16" versions?
Comments
I'd expect the same thing next summer for the 2016 models.

I was offered the following today -
MSRP $45350, Selling price: $38850 (includes $500 buildout and $1000 Novemberfest), 36/12K, .00131MF, 58% Residual, $1005 Drive off and a MONTHLY PAYMENT: $467+TAX.
How does this look? I plan to do MSDs as well. Thank you in advance.
Ask the dealer what the net cap cost is - I suspect some of the up front fees have been added into your selling price.

here's what I'm looking at:
2015 428X convertible 12k miles/36 months. max multiple security deposits. MSRP 64195, now offered at 57400 (59350 invoice price - 1500 options credit and novemberfest adder).
assuming no cap cost reduction upfront except for fees and taxes, what do you think of 664/mo.
do the numbers make sense?
think there's room to go lower?
thank you.
Double check the net cap cost - might be something added in there to account for the difference in payment. My guess it's the acquisition fee.
